BRUCAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! me and Sarah are still bitter, hurt and crying over them not being endgame. I don't care what anyone says and how Leyton started, they set up "signs" of meant to be for Brucas and it was so going that direction because the chemistry was on fire and to me Leyton was like brother and sister plus I didn't like Peyton much for what she did to Brooke. I think like TVD, Stelena were supposed to be soulmates and endgame, but the actors chemistry said another story. With that said, I can't blame Sophia for the way they broke up for not being able to do mushy lovey dovey scenes. The fight scene at the end of S3 was after their breakup and you could see how hurt she was in that scene. How sad. So as long as Nian's breakup is more like they're saying, hopefully the professionalism can stay on par because as much as I love people to date in real life, Brucas is my reason why it scares me so much. Brucas and Delena forever!!!!!!!!!! Oh man Linda.... I feel your pain sister. I do. It's hard to trust any relationship/actor after Brucas. |

I've never been a fan of co-stars dating in the middle of a tv show and I hope they can show us they really can be professionals. Hopefully whatever happened won't effect Delena because after all these years when we finally get our couple the actors personal lives could ruin it. I'm the same age as her and am no way ready to get married but if I was in a committed relationship for three years and in love with this person I can't see how you can suddenly want to forget everything you built together as a couple to go out and party with your single girlfriends every weekend. Nina has been doing that a lot lately (ex. julianne hough) and although it may be fun at first, all those single friends are looking for what she may have given up. (if rumours are true about not wanting to settle down and wanting to experiment) I doubt Ian was telling her, that he wanted to get married in the next year or its over but I'm sure he wanted some kind of idea that it was heading in that direction and he wasn't wasting his time if she had no plans to let things go any further. I believe they were living together so it was getting serious and not out of the blue for him to want to settle down. They still have two possible season of TVD left so talking about starting a family would still be a ways down the road no matter what.
Whatever happens is their business but only time will tell if they can really keep things professional or become an example as to why co-stars shouldn't date. It is fun to see them fall in love but when things don't work out and working together has new rules then it can affect the rating and the jobs of everyone on the show if the couple plays a main role in the story (like this one). Only time will tell if Delena will be cheapened to please the broken up actors from being to affectionate with each other.

My NIAN heart is breaking - and yet still hopeful. Here is what I think happened: Ian got a movie as he just tweeted he will be "living" in UK (his words, not mine.) Please be 50 Shades, please be 50 shades. So when you look at the schedule Doppel posted in Ian thread, he was going to be very very busy regardless. Nina is in Atlanta this summer filming a movie. Do they stay together, and endure rumors of infidelity, etc., or just take a break, knowing they will be back at TVD in a few months. This would explain why Ian seemed down and tense, along with his hectic schedule, and Nina less so. Ian is older and knows that things can fall apart quickly. She is still wearing that ring on her right hand, and he has been funny/sexy/sweet talking at Brussels event about ELEPHANT EARS and his privates and Nina, because he still loves her and she still loves him. It would also explain the article that said they talk lately. Yeah I myself was suggesting that this is probably more like a break brought on by the stress of life apart for so long after literally being side-by-side when just involved in the vampire diaries. The problem with this and what it means for their future is that enduring life apart is a big part of making a Hollywood relationship work and is often difficult. If this is the problem and they end up breaking up, they better never consider another Hollywood relationship again. Im experiencing a potential breakup or break myself right now and this doesn't brighten my mood even though I have faith in their professionalism lol Sent from my SPH-L720 using proboards |

Well, that rumor seems consistant with my idea of them having a fight/disagreement and/or taking a break of some kind. Ill have to see how things go down the line before I make a judgement call.

Right, and since they were apart for the summer they really didn't have alot of a chance to iron it out between them. But it sounds like when they did get together they may have talked it out. I guess eventually we'll see.

Hmmm...judging from the latest round of pics I'm not so sure they aren't taking shots at each other through Twitter, with Nina being the worst offender since she started it! Did she really think Ian couldn't do the same? It's sort of childish if you ask me, but she's not acting like a girl with a boyfriend. She's acting like a single girl without a care in the world which means to me that she is doing it to get a rise out of Ian. Well, one thing that can be said is if they are still on each other's minds, nothing is completely done with. Yesterday she sent pics in her bikini, with a couple of guys and then the storm trooper fiasco...lol Then we saw a pic of Ian with a girl who looked like an imitation Nina. Oh, boy... This back and forth taking jabs at each other is painful, even for us fans... I feel bad for both of them. They need to just stop. Just my opinion. I don't actually blame Ian for finally responding to her 'in your face' moves the last little while. Maybe she'll just quit now while she's ahead. It's bad enough when it's kept private but the whole world can see this. Wow, just wow. I saw Nina's pics but hadn't seen Ian's. I would have died back in the day if when I broke up with my boyfriend we had Twitter. It's hard enough hearing from your friends that they've seen your ex around town with someone but to have actual photographic evidence and so soon after the break up?
Ian's pics look like this girl saw him where he was at and asked for pics and just wouldn't stop kissing him on the cheek, but Ian is very friendly. The last girl he's with looks like a different one who probably wanted a pic.
Nina since day 1 has posted pics of everything she's doing throughout her day, which is her perogative but to me it's, like Dopple said, to get a rise out of Ian. But if she broke up with him for maybe him being too serious, why would she want to hurt him more? That's where I"m scratching my head. The way she's acting is more like Ian ended things and she's showing him what he's missing. Right?
I don't know, but I feel bad for both of them. This can't be an easy time. I don't blame either for trying to live their life and not sit home and be sad and depressed (that never works, I know), but I just wish I didn't have to see them like this. It makes filming of S6 seem like it may just be a problem.

and by the way, where the hell are Ian and Nina that they go out and people are dressed like super heros/costumes??? Was there some costume convention where they were?
Okay, I just went on twitter and checked this out. It appears there are tons of pics with Ian and fans while he's out at this nightclub, not just these 2. So of course these are just a bunch of girls begging for photos and Ian is so friendly. Man, Ian looks totally plastered in a few pics. I didn't notice Ian even posting the pics with these girls, is he? It seems the girls probably use their cameras and post them. Nina seems to be posting all of her pics but I think Ian is just at the mercy of tons of girls posting pics with him. Am I right?

Nina is in Wilmington and Ian is in Russia...so...who the heck knows! Ian was with his Dad at that club so I don't think anything much was going on other than overzealous fans and who can blame them? But really, like I said, I think Nina has been sending alot of 'in your face' pics and comments out and Ian finally got tired of it and responded in kind. He may have been the one to break up because she didn't want things to progress any further. It all sort of makes sense with the 'immature' comments and such. Nina also apparently responded to that with something about people call you immature when you are having fun because they are boring. They really are at different points in their lives but that should have been apparent from the beginning. Ian is 34 and talks about wanting to get married and have a family. He takes his work very seriously and is very busy all the time. Maybe Nina just wants to party right now, which is fine, but those two points of view don't exactly mesh. Of course all of this is speculation from various stories and who knows what really happened. It just seems like things are not so good right now between them just from what they are doing/posting.

Okay, please do not go overboard with these photos. Ian is in Moscow with his father, and that was taken at a dico which they were both asked to attend, and these are Ian's fans. It was hinted that Ian was doing something in connection with Star Wars and Nina being photographed next to a StarShip trooper may have a connection to that. Both Ian and Nina tweeted the same photo of Ian in bed with Katherine, it appears to have some signiferance for them both.
As far as I'm concerned the press can go take a flying leap. I did not like the fact that when it was reported that a fan asked Ian to take a photo after he had left......from having dinner with his father and his sister, Ian declined but she took hold of his arm and that photo materialised with the headlines that Ian had found a new girl so soon after his spilt with Nina (again speculation and not fact). So Ian tweeted an angry tweet in regards to this so called fan, yet they still act as if this fan was his new girl....when nothing is further from the truth.
