An ISF event coming up and Ian mentioned there would be a book regarding this. This sounds very interesting. U Factor Pilot Event Join the Ian Somerhalder Foundation in a unique opportunity to participate in a pilot youth development event that will help shape and direct the foundation’s youth development program! Participants will learn from and engage with speakers who will guide them through experiential activities aimed to help them to identify their passion, cultivate their talents, and amplify their purpose! This pilot event is a joint effort: Inspiring speakers will share their wisdom and experience with our youth audience while teens share with us their opinions on our program, helping us to support their growth in the ways most valuable and useful to them. Participants will walk away from this experience with resources containing answers to questions that will help them to define their passions, talents, and purpose and how they can contribute to a better world. We encourage you to nominate your teen to participate in this pilot U Factor event! Because we consider this event a mutual learning opportunity, there is no fee to attend. We believe that when an individual develops empathy, determination, and confidence in their own ability to improve the lives of other living things, they are much more likely to use their skills in a way that makes the world a better place - for all of us. There are justs no word to say how proud I am of Ian, yes I know he is not perfect but at least he tries and that is all we can ask of anyone. |
