REMEMBRANCE DAY - While Mystic Falls observes its traditional Remembrance Day to honor the dead, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) try to help Stefan (Paul Wesley) through a confusing time, a task that ends up taking Elena on an emotional journey of her own. A worried Matt (Zach Roerig) tries to figure out the reason behind his mysterious blackouts, and Caroline (Candice Accola) makes an effort to get to know Jesse (guest star Kendrick Sampson) better. Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) makes a startling confession that hits Damon hard. Finally, Dr. Maxfield (guest star Rick Cosnett) puts a plan in motion that will change everything. Kat Graham also stars.

I'm sorry but this episode killed me inside. It broke my heart for Elena and Caroline to find out that their best friend was dead. And then killing Jessie?! REALLY?! Caroline is going to be scarred for life when she finds out that he's dead. I honestly don't think any of them are going to be able to get through their lives the same every again.

However, I like the fact that Stefan has forgotten everything. No it isn't good that he's mad at Elena and Damon for being in love with eachother, but I liked how Elena helped him try to remember things like how she died and how they met at school. Even as a vampire, she has turned out to be a very compassionate person who will always care about her family and friends.
