So bummed that Lola doesn't get a happy ending but that was an interesting sequence of events.
Starting to like Francis more, he has a depth of feeling that I didn't see before. Mary really is becoming a bit more like Katherine. Not sure how that is going to play out.
What if Henry is being poisoned by the hosts at mass? Katherine did say that he has no tasters for them. Or what if they are made from wheat that has mold or something....I think that was what happened in Salem Mass. that precipitated the witch outbreak.
And who is that young ghost boy that Henry keeps seeing?
Have we seen the last of Diana? Where is she in all of this madness!
I hate that Pasquale saw Bash kill his father. FREAKING love the speech that Bash gave to Kenna. They are the love story now!

I was wondering about the ghost as well.
I love how Reign keeps surprising me with each new episode, this show is so good!

I'm all in with Bash and Kenna now. He is starting to truly love her and she is as well. They have gone against all odds and just like Bash said, it was meant to be a joke. I'm happy for the two of them!
Now that brings me to Mary and lately I'm realizing that I don't like her anymore. She was my favorite heroine and now she is cold, manipulative and calculated. Francis is still yucky but I like him more too in that he has a heart where Mary's is turning hard. I think it's safe to say that the Mash ship has sailed a bit away for me because I like Kenna and Bash. She actually cares for him and Mary I feel loved him but could never give him enough because it was never about love. It was about duty all along. Which makes me sad.
Henry is all sorts of crazy now. Poor Francis. He wants to kill him! Maybe this is the prophecy! It says because of Mary and well now Henry wants to wed Mary so it would be about her and the English Throne.
That little boy Pasquale and the ghost both freak me out!

Yes! How creepy is Pasquale? He looks like a wolf boy of something. Kenna is so sweet but I think the little beastie is going to be trouble. Thrilled that MASH ship has sailed. Mary has turned into a bit of a b i t c h. I kind of get it...what with the crazy in the French court and all but Francis and Bash seem to have been able to hold on to their sense of right and wrong and decency! I'm glad Mary chose Francis, she would have driven Bash bonkers. Now the king wants to kill Francis and marry Mary. What about Katherine? So much stuff going on in this show. I hope Bash kills "The Darkness" already. Or at least let us see more of what he's up to. Not enough screen time for our favorite lad, in my opinion! I wonder how Lola was supposed to hightail it back to court with no servants. Details details details.... She is about to deliver any day now and if this child is a fair haired tot...there will be talk. I think the ghoul that Henry sees is his brother. Remember when he spoke about his father exchanging him and his brother? Maybe his brother died along the way. I felt so sorry for Henry when he was telling that story.  |

Poor Lola. I was just like Julian the fake too. lol

I was soooooo underwhelmed. This was not a great episode.
Bye Henry. Once I loved you but you grew cray cray and needed to die.
Mary is gone and it's sad.
The darkness is stupid. I'm over the weird supernatural aspect of this historical show!
Kenna and Bash love one another and that was wonderful but not romantic at all. Rushed rushed rushed scene.
Best part was when the King died and Francis left the room and saw Bash. Bash goes to bow and Francis grabs his brother.
My hate for Francis is switching.... I'm beginning to love him now and hate Mary.

Okay, I've had a little time to recover from the two finales last night. Shwew! My little heart can barely take it!
I agree that the "I love you" seemed rushed but I'm still glad we got it. It was good to see at least one happy couple.
Yes, Francis has been growing on me too. Mary has to protect her country and her people. I guess it's hard to be a good queen and a good wife. I wonder if she will let Francis back into court?
Yes, "the darkness" was stupid. Nuff said on that one...
I loved Henry's death scene even though I hate to see him go. Poor Katherine when he mentions Diane.
AND OMG!On the Bash and Francis moment after Henry dies. That was awesome!

Yes. I want him to be okay and to be happy with Kenna....i hated the way Mary just dismissed him and her feelings for him when Francis showed up. I hope some day we'll get to see her admit that she loves Bash more than she knew, but it will be too late.

I just finished the pilot of this series and I'm intrigued though not sold yet. Francis is a waste...so that was a huge turn off right from the get go. Being of Scottish heritage I find this series interesting but as for the presentation I'm not so impressed so far. Young girls of that time would not dance around and act the way these girls acted. They would have chaperones and not even be allowed to attempt it and the music choices are...ugh. The music alone could be a problem for me with this. Historical stories need to be at least somewhat accurate to the times for me to enjoy them so I hope it improves or I might become bored, not to mention the accents are all wrong. The least they could do is have the accents right. We shall see. I haven't read what you all have written as I'm sure it's spoilery and I don't want to be spoiled but these are my first impressions. I've heard lots of good things so I hope that things get better in the series. I'll keep watching.

I don't blame you one bit, Dopple. I had many of the same thoughts about the show in the beginning. The clothes, the accents, the story itself...it's all pretty much fiction and make believe and only sometimes adheres to the truth.
What I love about it is the characters and plot twists and turns. You have to love Katherine she is just too devious. And of course I adore the totally fictional Bash. He really was what drew me to the story in the first place but the pace of the show and character development is what keeps me coming back for more.
If you want authenticity, it will drive you nuts. If you enjoy a good story that doesn't let the facts get in the way. Then you'll learn to love it.
Keep us posted, I'm interested to hear your thoughts. And btw, I felt the same way about Francis.

Finished episode 6, still not sold on it. Yeah I think some sort of historical accuracy would make it better for me and I'm already seeing loopholes that seem sloppy and I really hate the music they chose for the type of era this is set in...lol Bash is meh...not really grabbing me. I'm not sure this series is really working for me, but I'll give it a few more episodes.
