I'm with you Sweet! I was as giddy with this kiss as I was with DE's first kiss! It's always rewarding and satisying when a ship that's been through its trials finally prevails! I always had this nagging feeling that the writers would never get to this point with Steroline with one Caroline being dubbed the new Lexi and two not wanting to have Stefan be 'unavailable' for triangle baiting.
Though I guess we still don't quite know what's next for these two, they kissed but they may not be quite at that BF/GF label. Now with Liz gone and the promo of Caroline's grief, a full blown romance will likely be put on the backburner for now.

I don't want to see Steroline jump right into the sack. I want to see them be a little conflicted about just where this is going and stuff. If they jumped into bed with each other right away that'd certainly be a red alarm as far the longevity of this couple lasting. If this ship is intended for endgame alongside Delena then it should get decent treatment as far as pacing and the writers caring for realistic development of the ship. |

I think it was meant to be taken in a sexual way. Caroline is a very sexual woman so naturally she caught the sexual meaning of 'go for it' and it made me laugh that she caught it and slung it back at him as if to say, you really don't want me taking that the way I just took it. Usually it's the guy who would make such a cheeky remark and I liked that it was Caroline who did it. One thing I am enjoying about them is their banter...it's pretty good! Stefan is the one outmatched in that relationship. He'd better play catch up real fast. |
