Off Topic Section

Piggybacking off what I said in the video games topic thread, I think it'd be great if we had an Off Topic section! It'd actually be fun to talk about things like our favorite foods, pets, or people asking for advice on things and whatnot. I think there was a thread like this before titled getting to know you or something like that. I remember talking about shoes in that thread with everyone haha.

There are times in the spoilers thread where there really isn't any new spoilers or info to talk about so the thread goes kind of dry and sometimes there are things that happen in real life that I'd be like, man this is just so crazy/annoying/funny I need to tell the joke/vent my frustrations etc. Of course most of the times I head on over to Skype but it'd be great to indulge the forums here every once in a while since most of us on here have been talking to the same people since 2011 (this is the one social forum where I've stayed for a few years instead of it being one year and like eh well bye haha) and instead of it always being serious/frustrated discussions over things in TVD, it'd be great to have some random lighthearted discussions from time to time.

I also feel some of our newer members or lurkers may find it easier to talk about off topic things instead of jumping into a big full on discussion about TVD since it can be intimidating.

In the past we put random stuff in the "New to the Board? Questions?" topic. I don't really want to make a whole new section for things that we might randomly discuss as they won't probably be very long threads and space is limited on the front page of the site.  So I updated the title of that topic to reflect the contents can be off topic as well.

That sounds good! As long as there is a specified place for off topic in general. I just don't want to risk clogging up the DE thread with stuff that's not really about Delena or TVD so this is good overall.
