I needed to vent in light of all the Bonnie in the newest synopses for the show. I hate Bonnie for so many reasons! Here's just a couple of examples and these aren't even my main reasons. My main reason is how crappy she has always treated Damon over the seasons! I don't care that they suddenly wanted to make her his BFF which is ridiculous and right up there with unicorns existing because it doesn't erase the past relationship they didn't have and even if they wanted me to believe it was possible it would take a whole lot of mea culpa from Bonnie which we know she is incapable of! She would have to admit her mistakes with Damon and that is never gonna happen. At this point it should have happened BEFORE they even became tentative 'friends' if they ever even had a chance to convince me this isn't entirely ooc for her character.  Let's not forget also that she blamed Damon for the following ignoring her own part it it!  |

LOL...this is funny. The BDs like to say that Elena didn't sacrifice anything but do you think that if Elena told Damon to find a way to get her back he wouldn't have done it even if it meant killing Bonnie? Oh hell yes he would have done it! But she didn't ask him to do that. She accepted her fate and wished her friend to have a good life. She even commented on how Bonnie had sacrificed for her so she would sacrifice for Bonnie setting the tone for Damon to watch over Bonnie by Elena herself. THAT is how Elena sacrificed for Bonnie and this is what she gets in return.

Just another reason why Bonnie sucks! To top it off she then threatened to put a huge entry in Elena's diary about Krystal if he didn't tell her what he did...wow, just wow... Haha that doesn't even sound like Bonnie. It sounds like JP/Kat Graham breaking the fourth wall to tell the viewers that Damon needs to have sex with someone or he's going to be boring and cranky. Cause apparently there's nothing else to his character that could make him interesting. Jeez I didn't think the dialogue for that scene was that stupid. And it's more idiotic placing it next to the scene where Elena actually stood up for her friend. Imagine if Elena had stood up for her brother on the cheating issue and all the Bonnie fans wanting to burn Elena at the stake for being a horrible friend. But when it's Bonnie doing it, it's okay cause Delena is boring and it's all about Bamon lol. And it's not like Bonnie is friends with Elena anyways and it's about time Bonnie did something for herself and get with the main character of the show because Bonnie should also be the lead and not Caroline cause JP's just being racist. I'm rooting for this show to get cancelled before they have Damon do something even more outrageous and OOC. |

Haha I came here thinking I was going to end up reviving this thread after no post since two months but you guys said the same thought as me. These last two Bonnie-less episodes have actually been a breath of fresh air. It was good knowing that we wouldn't have to endure any cringe-y Bonnie and Damon scenes. This felt like a little taste of what it would be like when Bonnie's character exits for real.

This felt like a little taste of what it would be like when Bonnie's character exits for real. Sadly she'll be back soon hogging up the air and the time on TVD all too soon. I found it quite funny that the ratings have been better these last two episodes with her gone. She's repels people from the show. Too bad JP didn't get rid of her a long time ago. |

On another note she'll have to break the spell on Elena/Bonnie next season since Bonnie can't just walk offscreen with such a major component linking her to Elena still, unless Bonnie's going to get killed off but that wouldn't exactly match up to JP's whole dedicating a year to writing a 'great ending' for her character. |

If they kill her off, she'll no doubt die the selfless bada** witch they've always proclaimed her to be. She'll go out being the "Hero of Mystic Falls", lol. I'm still waiting for Elena's great ending - she's had plenty of time to write that and make it go out with DE on top. If S8 is the last, it better be freakin epic. No excuses about actors leaving and people not wanting to work together. |

@dragonstarks i tolerated her as Elena's friend but never liked the character. KG's acting and, later, KG herself didn't help the situation
