Julie Plec mentioned that there could be a 'flash forward' at the end of the season. What would your ideal flash forward be?

I made something similar before as a joke but I'm not joking. I want a flash forward to Damon + Elena together and both human with kids at something like christmas or thanks giving (i could so see Damon + stefan aruging over cuts the turtkey) with Stefan + Caroline together and human with Bonnie + Jeremy together there too just laughing and been normal. similar to this :
just played more straight and less comedy (still that scene gets me) as the show is so much angst as well as doom and gloom that having that moment of normality and happy ending actually gives closure but at the same time there are fans who may not like it so they need something there to keep it up to the viewer if it 100% happens.
Like say after Elena leaves have Damon spiral like normal but maybe even attempt suicide and have Stefan do that mind manipulation vampires do show damon hope is not lost and to save his brother. Have him tell Damon the future is anything YOU want and let damon manipulate it into the vision of all of them. Is it sappy my idea? yes. But I like those type of things on occasion. Why? did it i make Stefan? I LOVE the scenes where we see they are close and love each other. Also if Damon lets him see the future he wants Stefan would see the hope and the love inside his brother he always looks for and it's just a sweet moment as lets face it if Stefan sees the future Damon wants is with elena BUT with a family and Stefan happy with his own family it's just wonderful.
I am aware most will hate this but I admit I want a happy ending for everyone even if it's unlikely but in a show about vampires werewolves witches hunters hybrids and more how is a bit of happiness the most unrealistic thing?

I actually agree with you that I would like to see them all happy in the end...I'm sappy like that, so some variation of this would be OK with me but I'd want it to be a REAL ending not one left up to interpretation. I remember in the books they had these 'star balls' where they could see people's happy times and maybe a star ball would be in order to show Damon his future will be with Elena in the end. He just has to keep heading toward it in season 7. Now Ian said that he'd love to see Delena on a beach somewhere far away and so that's what I'd like to see, Damon and Elena on a beach somewhere happy...any of these endings would be OK with me. |

Speaking of the Kitsune from the books, seeing as these witchpires of Lily's are siphon witches, maybe they work a lot like the Kitsune and absorb something from their victim besides just their power...I wonder. Elena is once again a doppelganger. As I recall the Kitsune fed off their victims emotions or something like that and gained power from absorbing that. I can't remember all the details but it makes me wonder if these witchpires are the TV version of the Kitsune. I would imagine they would be interested in absorbing the doppelganger kind of supernatural power.

I could see that too  I admit I chose interpretation as a big part of the fandom for better or worse is the ships and the idea anyone can be shipped with anyone (I still remember seeing people on other sites try shipping Jeremy and Katherine , that's too weird a ship for me lol) so if they have supported the show for 6 years I feel there needs to be enough wiggle room that people wont feel heartbroken there ship has officially sunk (i love ship puns lol) But I also see people wanting to 100% know. However knowing is not always the best for some example I loved the force when it was mythical not Midi-chlorians (that one still hurts damn it!) or as a kid "who is the gold ranger" oh it's billy oh it's tommy's brother ..... oh  it turns out its Trey of Triforia .... WHO THE f*** THOUGHT IT WAS TREY? NO ONE THATS WHO!, I mean come on his first scene as trey = the unmasking! thats dumb! .... sorry rant *clears throat* ... So I could see trying to not make people go "WHAT _ ENDS UP WITH _ !" as lets say you ship delena and it flashes to 100% proof Elena ends up with Matt, nothing against matt i love him but you'd be gutted. So i thought happy ending but not 100% confirmed is less of a blow. However i too also understand 100% confirming too like Marvel saying "it's magic we don't have to explain it" about changing Spider-man's history. |

Oh, I forgot you can add 10 personal smilies on your profile. That's a little plug in I added a while back. Go to your profile >edit profile>settings At the bottom you add the url of a smilie you want to add. Then when you click the smilie icon your personal smilies appear under the regular ones.
