I was trying to see where I can start a thread about something that came up in this episode but i guess i will just post it here.

I wanted to know, how the heck was Michael looking for the doppleganger when she was only three years old?

I had a feeling that Bonnie's mom was the one who put the spell on Michael but couldnt they had given us more about why and how. She gave up that story way too quickly to bonnie. I wonder if there was more.

but really how did Mikael know about elena being the new doppleganger. what a great twist would be is if elena's parents death wasnt an accident.

I havent seen anyone caught this, but when Damon goes to visit Alaric after the hospital thing, Alaric says, "What are you doing here?" and Damon replies, "Looking for a bunny." This is a reference to the movie "Fatal Attraction" where the woman he's having an affair with turns out to be a psycho and kills a rabbit, the guy's kids' rabbit, to get revenge, and cooks it up. He even looks in the pot on the stove.

That's such a classic movie.
