I have a question. If the writers decide to have Elena choose Damon over Stefan, do you think Stefan will stick around for it? Or do you think Elena will actually make that choice and choose Damon I just can't see it not because I ship Stelena or Delena but because of the character Elena is. She doesn't even like talking about Damon and her feelings towards him because she thinks its wrong of her even if she feels her feelings are right. So I'm really intrigued to see how they will make her come to her decision. In the books didn't Stefan leave or thought dead when they hooked up or something? I couldn't say. It's even possible that Stefan could step aside himself, but I personally would want Elena to decide while having the possibility of being back with Stefan so that it would be a choice she makes for herself while having both brothers equally available for the choice. In other words, I don't want it to be by default just because Stefan is no longer a choice, same as I didn't want to see that when he had left town the first time and went ripper. |

Blah this post of mine is going to be everywhere. I'm going to try to comment on most of the stuff that's been said  First off we were actually correct with shirtless torture Damon? Oh man JP you are good  Judging by Rebekah's face it's definitely someone that gets on her nerves quite a bit. That's saying if that is the pic of the person interrupting. Looks like it could be one of her brothers Kol (wasn't he supposed to be coming back), or even Klaus. It could also be Elena, since she has become a bit a bug in Bekah's rug, though I doubt it since I think both Stefan and Elena is busy in that ep. Sarah I liked that theory about Elena having the flashback of the car accident except this time it would be Damon saving her. It'll remind me of this scene from the books: " She heard Stefan's voice, Elena! Let go! Fall and I'll catch you!"
How strange, Elena thought, as if in a dream. His love and panic had distorted his voice somehow - making him sound different. Making him sound almost like-
"Elena! I'm with you!"
-like Damon.
Shaken out of her dream, Elena looked below her. And there was Damon, standing protectively in front of Meredith, looking up at her, with his arms held out.
He was with her.
She was still looking down and she saw tears spill from her eyes and fall toward Damon's outstretched arms. Elena didn't know why she was crying, but part of it was sorrow for her ever having doubted him.
Because Damon wasn't just on her side. Unless she was wrong, he was willing to die for her - was courting death for her."She'll assume that it is Stefan coming to rescue her again but wouldn't it be a surprise if it was Damon instead? Would it be too crazy to assume this is the twist? Writers if we never asked for much before... I think it would just be amazing if that happened  But the twist could also be another supernatural being coming into play. I don't know if the writers will bring in the Kitsune Foxes and whatnot along with the Malach thing but if they did it would be so cool. I think they'll bring in some new form of threat anyways to keep the series going. It still feels as if Klaus was brought in too early and along with the originals it's almost like how can they top that? Doppel I also like your theory of the new threat messing with the town and it'd sort of put a stop to the triangle for a bit and they'd have to go out and solve this problem and it could all lead up to season 4. Though I think there was articles stating that a choice would be made by the end of the season. Also I agree about the Sage thing. I don't know where they're going with her, whether she's going to be the new bad and new threat. Still wish her name was different so that we could get hot, vamp Sage from the books and with his dog and falcon but whatevs I'm still holding out that Sage can switch her gender when she wants.  |

Gender switching Sage? Eeeks!  I agree. I wish they'd have stuck to a male for that role. What do we know will happen? What is at least semi reliable information? Then let's sort of timeline it a little (help me out here): 1/ There is a new supernatural being coming to MF. "There is a new being of sorts that is causing trouble within the town and it is completely unexpected and I'm really excited to see where the writers take it." (per Candice A.) 2/ A decision will be made by Elena (Doesn't really say if it will go in anyone's favor) 3/Bonnie will go against Elena (per Kat G. and now the latest synopsis from 3x18 seems to indicate she helps Klaus) 4/ Fear not, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) fans! Though Damon and Elena may seem further apart than ever, sources tell us their estrangement is not permanent and that their complicated dynamic "will be heating up again" this season. We'll pause while you "Delena" fans rejoice and "Stelena" (Stefan and Elena) fans go through the five stages. It gets better, guys. (From Eonline) 5/ 3x16 is a Damon centric episode with flashbacks to 1912. It also will explain the rift between the brothers and introduce Sage. (per Carina) This seems to correspond with the happenings in 3x20 to me. 11/ 3x21 or 3/22 Underwater flashback scene with the Gilbert parents. Elena's parents will be back in a flashback revolving around the car accident/underwater scene which JP mentioned wouldn't be happening if it was just to retell a story we already know so something new will be revealed with that. 12/ "Just go Script for episode 321- one more to finish season 3 of TVD.Whoa.Wonder if we are coming back for season 4..." I hope he steps away but I doubt he will be that selfless especially the way he has been talking lately... But I don't know, I may be rather surprised! In my Fic I wrote him very selfless and understanding. The books made him that way too. So i'm hoping. That will make Stefan amazing to me.  |

Stefan could....he hasn't appeared to be inclined to do this, but he's also realizing how selfless Damon is being and he's started to think about that when he asked him why he had done what he did with Abby. He knows Damon is stepping back away from the relationship with Elena and taking back on the 'bad guy' thing, presumably so Stefan can be the good guy. It appears Damon will continue in that direction and push Elena more toward Stefan from the synopsis we got for 3x17. |

Something happens in that torture episode with SE. I wonder if it has to do with Damon being hurt, maybe badly enough that it becomes obvious to Stefan that she deeply cares about him (loves him). I mean look at the synopsis... I would imagine if she came upon poor Damon all beat to heck by Rebekah she'd freak out. Like in 2x22 (and I do mean 2x22) when she thought he was dying how upset she was. He never saw that.

Yeah hate the SE face touching pics. Really? Didn't they use pics just like these of Damon and Elena to promote past episodes this seasons! So annoying! But it looks like their moment might get interrupted by a phone call? Maybe saying Damon is in danger???

I was thinking maybe Caroline was telling her she couldn't find or reach Damon and then she tries to call him, or maybe Rebekah calls Elena and says she needs to turn herself over or she'll kill Damon...  Then Stefan would be all, no Elena you can't...all the sudden Stefan wouldn't be so willing to let Elena make her own decisions would he? Then she'd be, but I have to Stefan because I love him (I can dream) Damon looks darn feisty in those pics like he's smarting off to her the whole time. I can only imagine the sexual innuendos flying out of his mouth. I love Damon. Once again this picture applies:  |

What if....he's injured so badly he needs blood to be able to recover and Elena has to give him some while she cries over him being so hurt and begs him to drink from her...hot I tell ya, and Stefan sees it all. This episode could be better for DE then SE....it very well could. All I see in my timeline I did today is alot of upward trend toward DE. I don't think I'm imagining it, even though I've come up with 10,000 theories of what could happen from there. I suppose they could stall it out with some giant thing but hopefully not before everyone, the three mains, realize that Elena's feelings for Damon are real. In 3x18 we've got the 'heartbreaking' SE scene and in 3x20 we've got the 'SE scene that made JP cry.' Seems good to me. |

Hey Ruby! Haven't seen you in a while. I am also very interested to see exactly what makes Elena finally give in to her feelings for Damon. It is going to have to be something big, I think. You are so right...she is very resistant. Guess we will wait and all find out together.
