What about us? We've practically been eating bread crumbs here  These articles are everywhere! It's hard to predict what's going to happen. We've gotten articles where it's stated DE is going to get hotter and then we also get stuff about flashback to car accident and these Stefan/SE sad scenes. So which ones come first?  I'm still trying to figure out if those sad Stefan and SE scenes are a good thing, especially coming from JP. Though let's say SE do have a sort of making up nearly getting back together scene towards the last episodes and then something happens with Damon that Elena can't let go and she rushes out to do whatever it is with Damon. Really something has to happen with DE in these last few eps I'm sure the writers are aware of DE's fanbase. Things are starting to get tiring. Even with these spoilers I'm still antsy. I wish I had the freaking script in my hands  |

The sad scenes I think are letting go and what comes out of them are closure and happiness for both characters. If she chooses Damon it will break Stefan's heart! We know this. Now it will in return break Elena's because she is letting Stefan go for real and it will hurt her to break Stefan's heart essentially. The fact that he hasn't told her it's ok to love them both will make her forever hide her feelings for Damon. Once Stefan essentially let's Elena off the "hook" then she will feel better and even at liberty to finally let he heart have what she wants.
That is heartbreaking for SE but also if SE is left with understanding, respect and still love then that means they are not shattered. So it's good and it leaves hope for SE fans everywhere that maybe their couple will return once Stefan works on himself. maybe....
But it also doesn't tear them apart. If Se can end on good terms and a mutual love and respect then not only is it heart breaking but also rewarding in a way.
The Stefan stuff about some things coming that are good might not be about Elena. Could be about Stefan FINALLY not self loathing and coming into his own finally after how many years? How amazing would it be for Stefan to finally "let himself off the hook" and be free of his own loathing? For Stefan to finally LOVE himself? How could he ever fully love Elena let alone his own brother if he couldn't even find it in himself to forgive himself and love who he is?
I'm not looking at these SE spoilers as bad. Like I said Heartbreaking and closure.

It's going to have to be. It's make or break time for DE and they'd better be aware of that. I really do believe alot of people will leave in disgust if they leave us hanging yet again.

Hmm ok I see what you mean Sarah! Guess its not necessarily a bad thing. Also Stefan is the one touching her face and not the other way around. He could be reassuring her of something, looks like something is bugging her in those pics by the look of her face. Also the last pic of the three standing together looks like someone told them to stand together so they can take a picture what with the way they all seem to be smiling Also those pics are for ep 3x18. This is going to feel like waiting for 3x14 all over again! We have to go through 3x16 and 3x17 before this one but I want to see it when the show returns! Edit: Also I wonder what's happening to Sage in that one pic. She looks like she's crying or something. |

Okay I'm just noticing Elena's dark blue jacket in the 3x18 pics. Remember at the beginning of this thread with that one pic where we thought SE are holding hands? Guess this is where it fits in.

Damon's hat and Stefan's crazy eyes! And did Damon say Uncle Zachariah or however you spell the longer version of Zach If so then dang they must have really liked the name Zach for it to be passed down all the way to present time Mystic Falls. But anyways looks like Damon was content on just living his life out of Stefan's presence until something happened that triggered his 'an eternity of misery' towards Stefan. But wait shouldn't Lexi be around somewhere there too or is that before Lexi showed up? |

No Lexi showed up in 1864. Damon is so serious in that clip, so NOT Damonlike. Even in 1864 he wasn't that serious.

No Lexi showed up in 1864. Damon is so serious in that clip, so NOT Damonlike. Even in 1864 he wasn't that serious. Yeah if Lexi showed up in 1864 and Damon hasn't seen Stefan in 50 years if we add that it would be 1914. So was it in 1864 when Damon told Lexi to help his brother? If it is then shouldn't Lexi be around in the 1900s time still conditioning Stefan? It still feels as if Stefan is in his ripper stint in that clip. Unless that wasn't a 1912 or whatever flashback in that clip. |

We don't know yet if Lexi is around, but it isn't too many more years before Stefan goes off the wagon again. I just watched the clip again to refresh my memory and I was like oh he said nearly. But even nearly if we put it to 48 would still had to 1912. As I'm watching the second time I'm now also noticing when Stefan said, "I'm not like that anymore Damon." So looks like Stefan was trying to get off on his own at that time. |
