Something I noticed in that shot with Caroline dancing with Klaus. She is wearing the bracelet he gave her and not Tyler's and did anyone ever think maybe he plans to compel Caroline to do something? I just feel like Klaus has got to be up to something.

Official Description! =)
SOME ENCHANTED EVENING — Elena (Nina Dobrev) is surprised to receive an invitation to a formal ball, and when Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) hear the party is being hosted at Klaus’s newly renovated mansion, they both insist on attending the event with her. Caroline (Candice Accola) and Matt (Zach Roerig) also receive invitations to the ball from unexpected admirers. At the elegant party, Elena learns of a horrifying plan that could lead to numerous deaths and she must decide who she can trust wither her new information. Caroline discovers a side of Klaus (Joseph Morgan) no one would have suspected. Finally, after an evening of violence and dashed hopes, Damon finds a new way to cope. Chris Grismer directed the episode written by Caroline Dries (#314).

I don't know. If Elena is acting stupid and all wishy washy or if she hurts his feelings with Stefan at the ball I don't blame him if he sleeps with Kat!
I love Elena but at the same time she cant hold his heart in her hands and DO NOTHING WITH IT but run into Stefan's arms. Especially after everything!
For those who are so against this think of it this way.... Damon having sex to escape pain that he thinks he cant have Elena? Or Elena running into the arms of a certain brother who she still loves and has unfinished business with all awhile Elena does so carelessly with Damon watching?
I think Elena needs to deal with both feelings with both brothers ALONE! I don't know. I think the Elena part is worse. Damon can only do so much to get this girl to believe it is him! He is a vampire and they are rash. If she does something that leaves him miserable or feeling no hope then sure let him play with Kat for a night. it will piss Elena off!
And if the most passion we can get from Elena right now through DE is jealousy and anger than I'd take it over denial and rejection.

Well apparently it's going to happen regardless of who it is so we'll see. The big question really is, what will Elena's reaction be? I mean if she basically goes back to Stefan or says she wants to settle things with Stefan or whatever Stefan, and that's the catalyst to the whole thing, which it sounds like it might be, then she has no right to complain but that doesn't mean she won't and if she does it's very telling.
The spoiler says she has an opinion on it which leads me to believe she's pissed about it because up til now she's had no opinion on him being with other women that she's voiced out loud, although we saw her jealousy (ie Rebekah and the marshmallows which she even mentioned to him). So, which is it Elena? You want him, you don't want him, make up your damn mind and I do hope that's exactly what Damon tells her.

I'm just tired of going in circles for two and a half years. I just don't understand why Elena would have any feeelings what so ever for Stefan anymore. What does he have to do, actually kill her?!? I've been told I walk away too easily. Several of my real life friends have stayed in relationships I would have bailed on. I am not one to stay with someone who doesn't treat me right and I have never understood people who do. Damon is turning in to a dream guy and Stefan is a nightmare. Elena is getting on my last nerve!  |

Why would you wanted to let yourself be treated with disrespect? it's much better to walk away. Anyone that says otherwise is the one with the issue. This comes from learning experience...so trust me. Life is too short to put up with BS. Historically women have allowed themselves, heck been expected to let themselves be mistreated and have to sacrifice at the altar of crappy men. Does this prove their womanhood? How well they can sacrifice and be treated like dirt? Not for me...uh uh and I'm a much happier person having called BS on that one. There are plenty of good men. It's simply not necessary. Having said that, this isn't the real world because if it was we know Elena woulda jumped his bones by now.  |

I rewatched last week's episode where Stefan says maybe he'd drop Elijah into the arctic ocean and then Klaus says it might be worth it so he can kill Stefan's brother and Stefan says, "Try me," and I was thinking Wow...he's really pretty far gone right now and I don't really understand why killing Klaus is so darn important all of the sudden to him that everything can be sacrificed because he basically indicated that it was to Damon.

Elena Loves Stefan and even though he is acting like a crazy selfish idiot, she still loves him and some part of her knows he is still in there even if its an ounce of hope that is barely showing, you see it in her actions. damon has done a bunch of crap to Elena thats not worth forgiving and she was willing to forgive him eventually. and plus if we see who Elena is, I doubt she will be running into anyone's arms after this is over. Damon had to prove himself to Elena many times after his mistakes, and I believe Stefan will have to do the same. She is not just gonna run back into his arms like nothing.

Or is trying to get things better for himself again and make amends. He owes allot of apologies not to just Elena! |
