Like their intentions. Make Damon do s***ty things on purpose? Exactly. Character assassination.  The writers built Damon's character up from The Reckoning to The New Deal and then bulldozed him down. I hate it. Damon's and Elena's character are never consistent. Damon's going perfectly good in one episode and then the next they write him doing something 'stupid' or Elena says one thing like needing Damon and then the next she's shoving him away by saying something 'stupid' It's just the writers way of trying to keep DE apart as much as possible and it's annoying  |

In other words, not surprising to anyone anymore. That's why it's time to get on with it already and I don't think there's very many people who would disagree, SE fans as well. They want resolution as much as we do. |

They want resolution as much as we do. Well SE fans want resolution so that DE can happen in one ep and be done in the next and on with SE again. We want more of a long term deal here  It kind of makes me think of SE and DE as two kids playing in the playground and both wanting to get on a swing and SE has been on it for a long time and DE has finally gotten on but SE has decided they weren't done yet and now they're trying to but back in and shove DE off the slide. Analogy fail! But the point of it is it's our turn now!  |

I totally get that analogy.  But yeah, it's like they're grudgingly letting DE have a turn but hurry up and get back to SE! I sure hope it doesn't actually turn out that way. I really don't have alot of faith in these writers or JP. I've seen alot of 'buts' along with those SEs saying get DE over with, like 'but' if there's DEx they don't want Elena back with Stefan. Yeah, you know, about that, we've put up with SE the entire time now and had to watch all that SE crud ourselves so I think DEx needs to happen. I mean what exactly are they saying? They can be together but no sex? |

It's like they think since they had SE first and had SEx first then somehow Elena is theirs and no one else can have her because she was theirs FIRST!
Give me a break. Elena can sex the whole football team if she wants.... No one owns her. She is her own person. That is so silly and immature. If there is DEx they don't want SE anymore.
What I have to say is good. Then good riddance! I hope DEx happens then!

Well that would get rid of all the animosity then right? RIGHT? haha...fat chance... I'm pretty sure they'd let Stefan have her back again and I know she's going to bounce around because that's how these things go. Damon will tick her off at some point or other or something will happen. It's inevitable. Like it or not she's another Katherine but that shouldn't really come as any surprise to anyone, doppelganger and all that.

I really wish they didn't kiss so early in the season. I think since the kiss they have had to push DE apart when it should have brought them closer because the finale was so far away! It was unrealistic!!!! The kiss should have happened like 4 episodes away from the finale if they were gonna tease us for the second half of the season! I think it's their biggest fail yet.
Think about it.... if DE is endgame for season 3 then they had them kiss and then had to do damaging things to their characters to keep them apart RIGHT after the kiss which caused anger from DE's!

I kind of thought Damon's confession in season 2 was a bit early as well. Since she was made to forget it was almost like a stalemate. Some progress for DE but at the same time changing nothing. And then they skipped over little tidbits like Elena wondering how she even got her necklace back in the first place. Also we never got any other follow up on that confession since Elena dying in 2x21 didn't make her remember we'd have to wait for her to turn vamp in who knows what season and by then it'd be redundant because she's already heard Damon say it to her face a countless times now. |
