After ghosts begin to slip through the veil that separates supernatural purgatory from the living in the May 9 penultimate episode, we'll find out in the season 4 finale if Silas' plan to drop the veil completely is successful. We'll also learn who takes the cure for vampirism - a decision that EP Julie Plec admits she changed halfway through the season. And expect an emotional graduation day. "I cried some really beautiful sad tears," she says, "and I cried some great happy tears."This was from an EW article with JP Why do you guys think she decided to change her mind and who do you think will take the cure? Ugh...I think it might have been Elena but then she changed it or something. I don't like the idea that she changed it halfway through. That probably means she changed her mind about the direction things would go due to fan response of some kind. I think it must now be someone who wants the cure like Rebekah or Stefan.

I was thinking that someone gets stuck in the other world when Bonnie ends up closing it if she did and then someone else takes the cure

The mind change on the cure makes me think it's Stefan taking it.

That would be surprising and no one is expecting that. So maybe she was going to choose Damon to take it and everyone already guessed that so she is switching it up to trick us!!! The suspense is killing me lol

Or because everyone seems to universally hate no-humanity Elena, except for a rare few, maybe Elena will be cured now. She was all excited about making Elena bad and thinking it would be a great storyline but then we all hated it, so, curing her is the quickest fix to it. Plus CD saying that we'd get the old Elena that we know and love back or whatever her exact words were, sounds alot like she meant 'human' Elena.

At this point, the majority of our characters have already had the displeasure of meeting Silas — and experienced his terrifying mind tricks in the process. In episode 21, “She’s Come Undone,” Caroline will finally come face-to-face with the psychotic bloodsucker, but not in the way that you would expect. That’s right! Silas will once again cloak his true identity and appear to our former Miss Mystic Falls disguised as someone who will really mess with her head. Of course I can’t tell you which TVD favorite sparks a dangerous conversation with an unknowing Caroline, but I can tell you to be wary of any character lurking in the woods.

"The Vampire Diaries": As we previously revealed, Damon and the rest of Elena's friends aren't going to have the easiest time torturing her... after all, they still believe that somewhere deep down, she's the girl they all love. So they have to call in the big guns. You know who won't have any issues taking Elena to task? The recently-scorned Katherine. Expect another showdown between the Petrova doppelgangers this week.

I have found this: Ask Ausiello Question: So we know there are ghosts appearing on The Vampire Diaries soon. Do you know if any characters are actually getting resurrected permanently? Or are they all just ghosts? —Audrey Ausiello: Rumor has it that one resurrection may stick. Question: I need some Vampire Diaries scoop on Caroline. —Calleigh Ausiello: These 15 words will leave her mouth in the May 16 season finale, per exec producer Julie Plec: “Come hell or high water, hell will freeze over before I let anybody cancel graduation.” As Plec explains, “The instinct to miss graduation is going to be on [everyone's] minds because there’s greater things afoot. And Caroline, as we know, finds these moments and high school events very precious and gets very angry when anybody tries to mess with them.” here is the link tvline.com/2013/04/30/scandal-season-2-spoilers-mole-identity-ask-ausiello/?utm_source=sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=spoilerscastingsscoopsalertSo what do you guys think??? I think Alarics resurrection will stick, because Cult was cancelled and he is unemployed Carolines line is hilarious isn't it? Enjoy the show tomorrow y'all!!!

I agree with ruby I saw a lot of spec. that Jeremy returns because it was his blood that resurrected silus.

Oh, I hadn't thought of that because everyone who died trying to resurrect Silus is supposed to be returned to life, right?

Sent from my MB886 using proboards Actually if that happened I would be the happiest little person on earth I love Jeremy and had a soft spot for him ever since season 1. His death really sent me off the rails for a while. But I dare not to hope because I remember all the statements by Plec&Co that one death would be permanent They gave all these hints shortly before Jer died.
