We can list Season 4 Spoilers and UPDATES here and lets try to always make them bold so people know what are spoilers and what is just discussion between our members =) We aren't yet done with season three - check out photos of Mystic Falls residents roaring back to the 1920s now, along with the official synopsis for "Before Sunset" - but Vampire Diaries producer Julie Plec is already looking ahead to season four. At last night's Warner Bros. TV's "Television: Outside the Box" event at the Paley Center in Los Angeles, Plec said she and her writing team have been focusing on 2012-2013 for about two weeks and... "We've got a lot going on, a lot of really amazing character moves, great romance, a new mystery, a new villain and I'm really excited about it."

I say the next enemy needs to be a shapeshifter. A shapeshifting fox to be exact going by the name of Shinichi and played by Shannon Kook-Chun haha!

lol yea in the same Article Julia was saying the new villian needs to be worse than Klaus and honestly they have watered down Klaus. If Klaus was "Klaus" this almighty dude. Everyone in Mystic Falls wouldve been Dead. Katherine wouldve been the vampire that he wouldve used to sacrifice in the ritual and Elena wouldve been a compelled bloodbank lol

Some New info for season 4:
Vampire Diaries season 4 Nina Dobrev revealed exclusive, new vampire Elena spoilers. Recently, the very sweet,Vampire Diaries,Elena, starlet Nina Dobrev did Hollywood Life a big solid,by plopping down some new Elena vampire, season 4,spoiler teases, and they’re definitely going to be quite intense to say the least.
First, she revealed that they’re definitely going to show her “whole transition into becoming a vampire.
We’re not going to skip over it, as we have with others. Becoming a vampire, everything you feel is heightened. We know what Elena’s like: She has high morals, she looks out for other people. So what’s Elena going to be like with those things accentuated?”
Next, she revealed that things are probably going to get pretty bumpy between Elena and her best friend Bonnie, because “the one person she’s been fighting to protect, is now what she’s been fighting against all this time. It’s going to be interesting.” Yes it will, indeed.
Finally, she revealed that playing a fulltime vampire “is going to be different for me and it’s going to be a challenge. It’s going to be more fun to sort of explore that world.” They’ve definitely turned this show up an octave with Elena’s situation. Stay tuned for more season 4 spoilers, because we’re definitely going to stay on top of this. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here. Follow us on Twitter by Clicking Here.

Hey! I am new here and I am really excited to see what season 4 has to bring. I absolutely love this show. When Elena transitions, I wonder if she will have control issues with the blood. I would like to see a bit of a dark Elena vampire. Then it will be like Katherine 2.0 I wonder how Bonnie is going to feel about Elena getting turned into a Vampire now it means both her best friends are Vampires and at least this season will not evolve around keep Elena alive. well I hope not.

who knows...Caroline was bit of a control freak before she became a vampire and all by herself. Elena will have people there while she transitions. Wonder if she will kill anyone lol
I think Bonnie is going to be in shock when she finds out after everything Elena died anyway

There was also a spoiler somewhere that said that Bonnie may even try to stop Elena from transitioning. So that's how she feels in a nutshell

Hey! I wonder whatever Bonnie is going to do if Elena herself is going to go along with it. Though Bonnie's spells have been sort of hit and miss so if I was Elena I'd probably run

It was more than a little surprising to see Bonnie (Kat Graham) save Klaus (Joseph Morgan) in The Vampire Diaries Season 3 finale. Of course, she had pretty good reasons, right? If she hadn’t performed her witchy woo on Klaus’s body, then Alaric’s (Matt Davis) Original staking would’ve been pretty tragic.
Of course, Bonnie wasn’t able to go blabbing the secret to everyone in Mystic Falls, but in Season 4, her friends are going to learn what the witch did. The good news? They aren’t going to be mad. In an interview with The VRO, executive producer Julie Plec pointed out that Bon-Bon is pretty much a hero. “I mean, Bonnie basically effectively saved Christmas, Hanukkah, Easter, and the heavens in one fell swoop,” says Plec.
Caroline (Candice Accola) might need a minute to process the repercussions of Bonnie’s spell, Plec acknowledges. The blonde vamp is convinced Tyler (Michael Trevino) is dead, and she spent what she thinks were his last moments with her most hated Original. Yet, if Bonnie hasn’t pulled the switcheroo, all the vampires we know and love would be dead. “They should throw her a parade,” says Plec.
Let’s hope Caroline remembers that while she’s gargling and rinsing because she made out with Klaus in disguise.

Bonnie better be sending that text like right now. Bonnie: Hey, Caroline, that's not Tyler anymore. It's Klaus, head's up! But she'll conveniently forget until after Caroline sexes it up with him. After all Caroline will be so grateful he's still alive. Klaus will get some and the tension begins in THAT triangle.

SO Vampire Diaries will stay at 8pm and will now be followed by the New show Beauty and the Beast but NIKITA STAYS ON FRIDAY -_- AT 9 NOW
As for The Vampire Diaries' fourth season? The new season begins with the "the knowledge that everything is changing. As Elena (Nina Dobrev) and her friends enter into the final stretch of high school before graduation sends them off on different paths, their bond to their home town of Mystic Falls takes on a deeper meaning when a new villain seems intent on destroying it." Josseph Morgan is still listed as a series regular, so take from that what you will...

Whew! That was a close one! We nearly lost Matt in The Vampire Diaries Season 3 finale. Luckily, the human is safe and sound, though Zach Roerig told us at The CW Upfront that his character will have a new role in Season 4.
No, he’s not turning into a vampire, too. But now that his girl Elena (Nina Dobrev) is sprouting some fangs, Matt will have a whole new set of problems to deal with.
Wetpaint Entertainment: What will Matt think of Stefan (Paul Wesley) saving him over Elena?
Zach Roerig: Matt’s main objective in the show is always to protect Elena, keep her safe, and be there as a main source of family for her. Being that she is a vampire now, Matt’s going to have accept that his role is to remind Elena what being human was truly like and what her life before was like.
Do you want Matt to stay human? Absolutely. Our show has got a lot of different roles going on. We got vampires, werewolves, witches. Being a human is a very integral role on this show. It’s a sense of grounding, even for the fans, for Elena, for everyone. It keeps the show real.
Is it time for a new love interest for Matt? At this point, I think it might convolute Matt’s purpose. I think right now Matt just needs to be there for Elena in whatever capacity she needs him. And that means romance [shouldn’t] deter him from that goal.
