I was dismayed at first that she got the car wrong. I am a car girl and I know my cars. But she got almost everything else so on the money that...I forgave her.  |

I'm really liking Memory Serves....1864 Damon is so sweet. I've always considered that he was lurking in Damon somewhere and would come out eventually when he felt 'safe.' So the story is so cool. I have to laugh at all the writers, including myself who made Stefan out to be a crap lover...I dunno...that's just how I saw it.  OK, back to reading... Yes..human Damon is yummy. Since you like human Damon you will really like I Hate the Way You Love and Master Salvatore Takes a Wife.  So far, and I'm more than halfway through, I Hate the Way You Love annoys me. I think both Elena and Damon are way far off OOC. Elena is acting like some beyotch the entire time and for no apparent reason while poor widdle Damey is just plain whipped and simpering and sniffing after her  I don't mind strong women writing but she's not strong, she's a C word....then the writing is just choppy short sentences of 3-5 words which is starting to make me crazy! It's not dialogue either. Nope I don't care for this story much and yet I really did like Memory Serves by the same writer, but Memory Serves came later and seems to me to be much better written. Oy! I'd entirely rewrite that thing if I were her. |

The Darkest Side of Me is still my favorite fanfic of everything I've read. I don't think it's exactly Damon perse, except maybe beginning of the show, didn't care about anyone yet Damon, but not OUR Damon. However this Damon thrills me like no other to read. |

The Darkest Side of Me is still my favorite fanfic of everything I've read. I don't think it's exactly Damon perse, except maybe beginning of the show, didn't care about anyone yet Damon, but not OUR Damon. However this Damon thrills me like no other to read. Yes....I love the darker Damon as well.  As for the other fic...if it's getting on your nerves don't read it! I am bad cuz I will stop reading and find something else I like better. |

Well, I'm optimistic and always think Oh, it'll get better...hehe. It turned out OK at the end, but it won't be on my favorites list. Still I gotta give the girl an A for effort on all that historical mumjo jumbo.

These....O.M.G. The second one was just....amazing. She totally has Damon down to perfection. The DEX was freaking crazy hot. I had read the first one and thought it was just OK, but the second one was way better, although not complete. It really didn't matter to me because it was THAT good. |

I loved Fool for Love. Wish she'd complete it, but I was more than happy with what I did get.  I love her Damon. She nailed it. Her Elena is the way I wish show Elena would turn out. If only. I can dream. |

Actually, we already see Elena changing when it's just Damon around into a much more confident Elena...even Stefan saw it and commented on how she's changed last episode. Bingo! THAT is Elena with Damon. Together they are both better people and that is why DE should be endgame. Elena with Stefan was blech! Elena with Damon is a firecracker.
She can be her true self and she knows he'll accept her, the real her. She's not really some shy reserved girl. Even at the beginning of the series she mentions how she used to be more 'fun.' Elena is not who she has been with Stefan. He never brought the real Elena out.

I just loved how she was so insightful into Damon's insecurties and her forgivng nature.
Knowing and understanding what he needed in a given situation.
Show Elena is getting there. Now if she can get her Stefan bull hockey detector in gear...
