So if anyone's interested, lovesyoufromtheground (a Delena fan who writes lenghty metas about the characterization/relationship of Delena) is in the process of doing a 'redo' of season 4 and onwards. Anyone who follows her on tumblr knows how critically and realistically she views TVD/Delena and she's expressed her dislike numerous times when it comes to certain plots that make no sense or is written horribly. Her rewrite is her way of closure from the show, so it'll be interesting seeing a competent handling of Delena's journey, by someone who is in tune and cares about the characters.

So far she has a prologue, that also contains an author's note by her that delves more into her reasonings for doing this, and the first chapter.

I'm definitely going to be following this as it's beyond awesome to have a fan as passionate and knowledgeable about TVD and Delena, care about the actual development and interpersonal relationship of all characters tackle DE's journey in a play by play of canon without all the BS roadblocks and gimmicks that the writers just threw out there for the hell of it.

Lockdown is completed? I remember reading that back when it was still updating. I definitely have to get back into playing catch up on some of these fics I had bookmarked on my old laptop (which broke so I forgot about these fanfics for a while lol).

It's going to be refreshing reading fics from Delena fans who you know won't screw up the characterizations and whatnot. So happy DE endgames here we come lol.
