I'm really intrigued by 'The Five' now. I wonder what Klaus knows, and if Jeremy is one of 'The Five' since Connor said another person would replace him if he died. An 'Immortal' setup essentially. One falls, another takes the place. I'm assuming if these Hunters are a problem, Klaus wants to possibly 'break' that (the power or whatever that makes them special passing on) or manipulate that to him or someone he can use as a puppet (Jeremy?). If they're offshoots of the Petrova blood too and he obviously knows how powerful him and his family are being the firsts of one of those spells, he probably wants that extra juice for himself to add to his Original/Hybrid power already. Not farfetched at all. This show has a shoddy track record of keeping relationships going. Remember the fallout of Bonnie & Jeremy? Jeremy doubling down on Ghost Anna and trying to keep it secret? Yeah, that happened in TVD. Consistency isn't one of TVD's strengths. It's Elena so they're going to make a special case/take liberties with her development as a Vampire now. It's not ridiculous as I have a problem with it too. They're effectively putting the lives of hundreds of thousands (?) in whatever decision they make. Is Bekah's demise worth that much cause she was pissing in Elena's Fruit Loops the entire day? Do all those other Vampires have to suffer? Who knows how many of them are leading as much of a normal life as they can with the Vampire thing. Vampires going through the same crap Elena is going through and she wants to make an irrational decision like that? This was my problem all last season. They took the 'KILL THE ORIGINALS' thing to an insane level, especially when all of the Originals (except Finn but he just got back with Sage so he could have been manipulated onto their side) pretty much were doing their own thing. If Elena is pissed at Bekah, find a Dagger and box her. Problem with either option though is, Elijah, the one Original is constantly siding with them, will take issue and who knows how Kol & Klaus will react, despite their distance. That just jumpstarts the Original War again. It'd also be odd cause everyone gets on Damon's case about collateral/innocent lives being lost in his plans, especially Elena and she wants to go and pull something like this? The hell? Could possibly. If one of those kids goes and dies, they may be put into transition. Since info on Hybrids is so...nonexistent, that would have been one hell of a blunder on Connor's part. |

Could also be true. She tore up his room to find it (he knew what she wanted) and she said she was finding that Stake. We know Damon doesn't hide important things too well (Moon Stone). For all we know, he had it in the log pile next to the fireplace.  log pile next to fireplace a la moonstone in soap dish Sorry, lost it there for a minute. I thought this episode was good but I'm hoping it gets better. I liked that Damon and Klaus teamed up. I know it won't last but it was interesting to see them working together even if it was brief and Klaus was well Klaus. I think the whole Tyler cheating on Caroline with Haley thing is a bit of a cop out for the writers. I'm not opposed to breaking them up but I wish they could have shown a little imagination in doing it. April and Rebekah - I can totally see this as a friendship. They both seem to need something and I'd like to see Rebekah get to be a teenager for a while. She's never really been able to do that. Mean girl Rebekah was awesome. I thought it went a little overboard but was completely in character if that makes any sense. I read someone didn't like the motorcycle scene. While I agree Stefan with a motorcycle is a bit out there, I did like that Elena was smiling for the first time in a long time. She was actually enjoying being a vampire and that's something we haven't seen. Actually, there have been very few scenes when Elena is having a good time so I liked it. I also enjoyed that Caroline is the poster child for "how to be a teenage vampire" I know that might be unpopular but I really didn't like her character when the show started. Since she's become a vampire she really has become a much better person and I liked that Stefan recognized that. I liked that Stefan and Caroline are getting closer but it seemed a little forced as a friendship. I think the friendship scene between Stefan and Bonnie last week played out better. Is it just me? I'm really looking forward to next weeks episode. Connor and the Five is an interesting storyline and I can't wait to learn more. I have some speculations on this but will post in another thread.........that is if I can find it. I'm still new and poking around trying to catch up on the forums.  |

Thank you Slash!  I guess The Five's blood can turn a Vampire back. Why else would Claus want to keep Elena alive and protect Connor after finding out who he is? The only way she could possibly be useful is if her blood can make hybrids for him, which involves her being human. Does it mean these Hunters are somehow the key to turning Elena human again?? Btw. it just smacks of a magic bandaid to put over Stefan’s idiot decision to save Matt. If they can turn Elena human again, then everything’s okay and Steffie is off the hook for letting his girlfriend drown. Back to hateful Elena. She wanted to kill Rebekah. But did we forget that a vampire can't stake an original with the white oak stake? Remember it killed them as well? Right? Or has that changed, and did I completely forget?  |

I personally dont like Elena as a vampire or maybe in this season 4. I do not have problem with her before. But, I feel like she has become more selfish, especially around the Salvatore Bro. I mean, if you already choose Stefan, and basically dump Damon.. then stop giving poor Damon any false hope and bother him. like ep 2, when she need help to adj her blood diet and etc.. she go and ask his help.. and at the end.. Stefan mad at him again. I don't want to see them fight again over some girl anymore. and Elena should know better. But she is selfish and don't want to lose them both. She should have choose neither of them, and be with someone else other than Stefan or Damon, maybe Elijah Anyway... ppl might say that is the whole plot for the show, brother fighting over a girl , history repeat itself. but it has been 4 seasons/4 years... come on.. enough is enough.. I am so sick of this love triangle. For this ep, I dont like the way Elena talked to Rebehak, so mean.. I felt bad for Rebehak.... okay.. I know she did killed u.. but she was hurt cause she through she lost her brother forever, and she is tired of running and even worst, w/o Klaus.. I felt like nobody in MF gave any sympathy to Rebehak BTW.that motorcycle scene.. LOL When I saw it , I was like what is up with the helmet ? They should have just delete that scene. |

I felt like she manipulated him to keep him around or to help her with her little touches/talks to get things her way and she does this to keep him on a leash/going too far away. Stefan is already wrapped around her finger and bends to her every will (just like her circle of friends) and Damon was that piece she wanted to keep around and surprisingly did even after all the crap she gave him. Damon is a glutton for punishment. I've grown tired of the triangle myself but I think that's mostly in part due to how lopsided it is (Stefan is handled poorly within the dynamic and with the development of his own character). Elena also fits certain guidelines that annoy me with female leads (Sookie from TB falls under this label as well; I hear it's called 'Mary Sue'). Damon has had an opportunity to be happy with Rose but they killed her off and I think Elena aside and with some work, Bekah would have been a likely choice too (in a fantasy world). But really, the main reason the Brothers fight at all on this show is because of Elena. Katherine was the source before that. When will it click with either of them to swear off the look-a-likes and go with someone entirely different? I know Bekah was playing [high school] games and taking advantage of the baby Vamp emotions but Elena needed to really ease off the gas with wanting to Stake Bekah. Yes, Bekah is in part responsible for your death but so is Stefan, Bonnie, Tyler, Matt and Jeremy. Bekah is getting the cold shoulder from everyone and just got disowned by Klaus, the one Brother she has always stood by because he cared more about you and your blood rather than the one family member who has always been at his side. So you can see why she's directing hate at you: Klaus' fascination, the link to Alaric at the time, the Matt angle and at one point, she's had a thing with both Salvatores who are wrapped around your finger. The girl has a right to hate you. Oh, right. You stabbed her in the back too when she was warming up to you. Can't forget that one. So in other words Elena: quit bitching  Anyone in Bekah's situation would be the same exact way to you. |

ok people, how am I suppose to concentrate on ANYTHING when you post pics like this???     So what were we......................................what was I saying.......  Oh yes Elena, I have no idea how she was able to walk out of that room. Boy those vampire emotions really do intensify and her single minded "looking for white oak stake" mission managed to get her out of the room but what about her over active hormones? Did they take a powder during that scene? Yeah, that was sarcasm I know they're trying to make sure she doesn't come off as another Katherine and I'm guessing that's why she didn't jump Damon react to Damon.  |

I feel like the show should change its name Elena's Circle... basically everyone want to save her ass... except Rebehak, What is so special about her beside her pretty face.. and I dont see her treat her friends and bf any better. like her so call BFF Bonnie, she only talk to her when she need help. so are the rest of the gang BTW.. I dont know ... grrr Stefan and Damon are like 2 dogs follow her around with their tongue hanging out This is my personal problem with some of these shows: too much bending backwards by everyone else on the show to save/fall in love with/want for whatever reason the lead female. It just gets annoying. It's like some of these characters have no life of their own to live at these times and can drop everything solely for Elena. They enable her to do the stupid s*** she does too. No one tells her 'No'. They just stand by, wait for whatever she does to screw up things more (or better yet, initiate the trouble) and then they try and intervene usually at a cost to themselves (most recently, Bonnie playing with black magic for the sake of trying to stop Elena's transition and now she's sitting in timeout). And Stefan and Damon...for 2 Vampires pushing 160-170 years, they should be better than this. They should *KNOW* better than this. Them hanging around 'Trouble Incarnate' isn't amusing anymore. It's asinine on their part at this point. They learned *NOTHING* with their first doppelganger run-in and they just seem to be trying trial & error with this one to see how far they can get this time before Round 3 happens and they can avoid as many pitfalls as possible before they set new personal records for 'smooth sailing'. As for Elena being a 'pretty face', it's all subjective but yes, her attitude doesn't win her any points in the 'Keeper' category so that's why I find it hard to believe that these 2 Brothers are tripping up and beating the hell out of each other physically & verbally to get at her. Caroline annoys me so that voids her looks and the same as above with Elena. Bonnie...same. 3 peas in a pod. Personality offsets their looks...or something. What I'm trying to say is I wouldn't give them the time cause I know if you dated one of the other 2, you'd either be dragged into Elena's crap or you'd be stuck waiting for them to get back from whatever mess Elena was in this time. I figure if I lived in MF, I'd be plotting on how to kill Elena after spending 10 minutes with her and seeing how everyone treats her like the Queen. I'd have secret cabal meetings with Bekah and Katherine. Could probably bring Kol into the mix too and we'd have to find a Witch as well and maybe a Werewolf to round things out (Jules had the right amount of crazy/hate in her to join in but she's gone). I like diversity. Could use the strengths of everyone and every species. |
