Official Damon and Elena Discussion Thread

I'm thinking back to some old spoilers but I remember reading that Stefan sees Damon and Elena getting close but he doesn't care cause he's too far gone. It probably hasn't played on screen yet since this season is just getting started but I hope it's not one of those spoilers that get said but we never see it on screen.

Also Elena saying screw it and having fun comes to mind. Would her saying of let Stefan go be her screw it moment? LOL I don't know but I'm still waiting for on that spoiler where it says Elena lets loose and have some fun. Unless that already happened

I kind of took that as being the way she acted getting drunk and stuff and acting goofy, that time she fell off the bleachers. I'm thinking for Elena that's about as good as it gets.

I forgot about that spoiler about Elena having fun. I'd say that her letting go of Stefan could be the moment but Klaus is trying to kill them again. I don't see how that equals fun.

Except with the drunk thing it was part of some plan and she was pretending but yeah that's probably the close we're going to get maybe lol

I guess I'm still holding out for another Georgia ep. DE road trip or something XD

There was also that kitchen scene that sourpuss Alaric ruined by coming in and asking what Damon was doing there, like HE actually owned the house.

I didn't really understand that lol it wasn't like Damon was doing any flirty eye thing or something it just came off as harmless fun.

Alaric overall in that episode was annoying he was just too serious over what I don't know. I wasn't much of a fan of the whole Alaric hating Damon arc feels like it came out of left field to me.

I agree. I mean, I feel like it was specifically for driving a wedge between Delena, since Stefan wasn't around. They needed someone else who could interrupt their moments all the time. I know that the excuse was "he was looking out for Elena," but seriously? I'm with Damon on that one- all Damon does is look out for Elena. The thing that really topped it off for me was when Elena and Alaric were talking casually about putting vervain in the town's water supply, like it was actually a good idea.

I think that was the scene when he was a ripper and Elena asked Damon "Where were you"? And his hand was on her leg. Stefan came in said some snarky then then said "By all means carry on"... I think that is what they meant.

Alaric's practically been to hell and back with Damon he knows him so well they've been friends they always have each others backs. He of all people should know how Damon is when it comes to Elena he's always looking out for her. That well idea was weird. It was almost like we were back at season 1 where they're meeting Damon for the first time or something.

Oh yeah I forgot about that one! Except at that time we weren't aware that Stefan would be compelled to take off his emotions so that nearly lessened the effect of it all.

Man, sounds like I need to catch up on my TVD gossip. I have been out of it the last month or so. Any links for these spoilers you guys are talking about?

Btw, I still think when the show comes back, Damon should be super conflicted about his feelings for Elena, particularly since he might realize she is actually developing real feelings for him. I think he should totally back off, and she should have to chase him!! I have said this a million times, but I think it's the best way to get out of this same rut we've kind of been in for months.
