Beautiful song analysis DE always have beautiful songs. And I agree that Elena is Damon's home and vice-versa Just to keep the discussion going. What are you all looking forward to the most when the show returns in regards to DE? |

I'm excited about those spoilers about the tension getting hotter. We'll finally be able to see Elena's end and her struggle to keep her feelings in check around Damon.
Then there's the thing about Damon backing off so I wonder what Elena's going to go about her feelings then. She's going to have to be the initiator this time around!

Yeah I read those spoilers too! I was wondering how the heck can DE get any hotter than they already are LOL. That gym scene is one of the hottest DE scenes I've ever watched.
But I'm thinking they'd at least have to kiss this time. Poor Elena just when she's starting to get a taste of the good stuff Damon's gonna pull away. I know she's not gonna be happy about that. It'll be interesting to see how she handles it. I want to see Elena making moves to get him back!

When JP said things were getting hotter my mind was immediately thinking, "OMG they're going to kiss!"
But I didn't want to get myself so psyched for that so I'm trying to tone myself down a bit. Though I don't really see what could be hotter than a kiss at this point lol

DEX!!! Thats hotter than a kiss. But I doubt they'll be progressing that far. I don't know what it'll be either. I'm thinking a kiss, or an almost kiss where they're for sure about to kiss but someone interrupts them, or maybe Damon feels Elena up some more. Or maybe she feels him up this time LOL. who knows? The possibilities are endless

Stefan might be back now but he has changed and she is going to need someone who understands how she feels and Damon is it. Damon backing off will only make Elena feel more alone and she will start to want him and miss him. I want to see a scene where she says, "Damon where have you been. I've missed you". Damon promised to never leave her again. That means if she is in mystic he is in mystic but that doesn't mean he has to go running through fields with her. I want to see Elena miss Damon!

That smilie is hilarious. I think it will be Damon who learns that Stefan did it to save his life and so that'll be the reason he backs off but will he tell Elena right away? It doesn't seem like it. It gets a bit tiresome how the writers keep doing the 'Stefan saves Damon' routine repeatedly. Try something new.
I do find it interesting that even Klaus knew threatening Damon was the key to getting Elena to back off on trying to kill Klaus, even though it was Katherine and not Elena. But still, he obviously knows she cares about him as well.
