Now that Damon told Elena to turn off her Humanity I lead to believe that The Sirebond was "disabled" not entirely broken.
The reason is because The Sirebond was created because of her human feelings. And A sire wants to make their master happy they want to please them.
If Elenas humanity switch is off does that mean she doesn't care to please anyone including Damon? Leading to him trying to use the sirebond to help her get back and shes like um NO I dont care what you want.
In the end of the last episode Damon made it sound too easy. "Ill just have her turn it back on when she's better" and I really think it's not going to be that easy.

Yeah I think you're probably right. If she has no human feelings than it couldn't 'trigger' the sirebond to be in effect. When her humanity comes back though, will the sirebond? I guess this is the big question of the day on that. I personally have a lot of issues with the sire bond itself and it being real/not real. There's just so many holes in the darn thing! It's either really crappy writing or they mean for us to see that and question it, but that isn't really the debate. If it is, indeed real, I do think it is effectively disabled and Damon hadn't considered that he wouldn't be able to use it to bring her back again if they wanted to.
I think in the end, they will decide it is best to let Elena decide when she is ready to allow those feelings back in again. In the meantime it will be hard on all of them dealing with her lack of caring about anything, trying to keep her under control so she doesn't do something she will regret later.

Yea I think the sirebond won't work on her and the rest of the season will kind of be like how well Elena break the walls of the humanity switch on her own. Maybe they will even incorporate her haircut into the mix now as her being fun careless Elena haha

I hope they do cause I am pretty tired of Elena's old haircut and clothes. I want to see that new haircut!

And it looks like they will be changing her clothing too. Like the nice blazer she has on while on the ground. She kind of burned all her stuff not unless she had some stuff over at the salvatore house

Not to worry, Caroline will take her on a shopping trip. I hope she keeps her on a tight leash when she does.

The Hulkoline knock down drag out match, eh? I don't know, they didn't really say WHO Elena was getting in a fight with.

Thats true but some people speculate caroline bc shes getting in the way of Elena having feed time or something. And I don't mind hulkaline however ya call her haha. Only time I find it dumb was when she was fighting the tomb vamps lol

She shouldn't have been able to hold off Damon either, with the excuse that she was 'angrier.' C'mon now! They make rules about vamps then they break them when it's convenient for them and I abhor that about TVD. They could have just as easily had Elena show up. That would have stopped Damon right there or at least given Caroline the time to get out with Daddy-o. But whateve, it gave me a laugh at the stupidness of it all and earned her the Hulkoline moniker.

Thats true but I also think Damon wasn't using his full force on her its not like he wanted to kill her lol the only thing she caught him of guard with was the head bump she did to him.

Yeah I agree with that. He wasn't going to kill Caroline over it.

Sweetluv4DE said: Look what spoiler I found!!! Answers your questions!!!!!
“With Elena’s emotions shut off, is the sire bond gone since that’s emotionally based?
Julie Plec: I give a gold star to whoever launched that train of logic because we do deal with it right when we get back.” TV Guide (via thedelenaholicdiaries) aka damon wont be able to “ask” her to turn it right back on. (via drinkswithdamon)
Since I read what JP said I think the SB is over and JP has also said she won't be upset with Damon at all for helping her turn it off. I still don't think he forced her but that's another debate. Lol

He didn't force her he just did what he thought would be best. I don't think it has to be that extreme to shut everything off but im interested to see a no humanity Elena so I'm not complaining lol

He told HER to turn it off so she did the actual turning off. I think he just focused her on what she could do to make the pain go away so I don't think she will blame him at all and it looks like that's the case. Yes, he invoked the sire bond to get her to do it. I'm not sure there would be any in between they could have done that would involve her feelings since the sire bond only effects actions, not feelings. He couldn't tell her to stop feeling a certain way. It wouldn't work. This is probably exactly why they phrased the entire thing like they did on what the sire bond could do to begin with. Sneaky! My only question is will the sire bond return when her feelings return or is it effectively broken and done with? Let's hope so! We all hate it, every ship there is.
