my question is if her turning off her humanity breaks the sire bond how come nobody has figured that out yet after all these years? I mean she is not the first vampire to go through this or flip the switch. Since the vampire sire bond is rare, it doesn't happen too often (1 in a million chance,) this may be the reason why no vampire has ever come across a sired vampire let alone a sired vampire who has had to flip the swtich combination. And I think in the next episode, Damon and Stefan will find this out. |

I think that The Sirebond did not broke, but we will see in next episode... I'm not sure what will break it if this doesnt break it unless they want Elena to become human again still (we know the brothers still pursue the cure I think)...GOD I hope not even though I have every feeling she will remain changed. I just hate the cure and SB storylines and it doesn't look like that will go away until the finale, if then. |

I definately think that by switching off her humanity Elena did indeed break the sire bond. Since the sire bond is only formed during the transition period from human to vampire,and Elena is already a vampire, when she slowly regains her humanity which is going to happen over the next 3 episodes, the bond will not be there.

Corina states that the sire bond will not be broken, however, it is going to be different. So we'll see how this turns out, and in what way will it be different, so we'll have to see which of the spoilers are correct.
