Highschool Graduation will take place for the Finale Episode
WHO WILL TAKE THE CURE? — On Graduation Day, Mystic Falls is overrun with ghosts intent on settling old scores and fulfilling their supernatural destinies. Damon’s life is in danger after a ghostly encounter, while Matt and Rebekah join forces to battle a ghost determined to find the cure. As everyone gathers for the graduation ceremony and the ghosts converge, help comes from an unlikely hero. Caroline receives a touching and unexpected graduation present, and Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) plan leads to the closing of the veil. Elena makes a decision about the Salvatore brothers and faces an epic confrontation with Katherine. Finally, Stefan discovers a horrifying clue to the mystery surrounding Silas.

What? None of them should be graduating....  But then again the total lack of teachers and adults in general means they run around the hallways making up their own grades as they go along. |

The Vampire Diaries 4×23
The 4×23 episode title will be ”Graduation”!
The main spoiler about The Vampire Diaries 4×23 “Graduation” will be that a vampire will ingest the cure. From some other information I’ve read, the vampire doing this could be Stefan. Paul Wesley recently revealed that he would like to see Stefan go to explore another town; maybe New Orleans! Julie Plec revealed that the Mystic Falls graduation will fall right in the middle of the supernatural apocalypse caused by Silas.
Sounds like we’re definitely in for some fun times and a lot of changes. April 18th, 4×19 “Pictures of You” will be the beginning of the end of season 4 of The Vampire Diaries. April 25th, 4×20 “The Originals” will be the beginning of the spinoff of The Vampire Diaries. May 2nd, 4×21 “She’s Come Undone” has a dire tone that could be the beginning Elena getting her humanity back maybe. May 9th, 4×22 “The Walking Dead” sounds like Silas will begin to try and bring about his apocalypse and the raising of the supernatural dead. Finally, May 16th, 4×23 “Graduation” which could have a number of meanings. Graduating to the next stage of their lives, the vamps on The Vampire Diaries will be off to college, maybe Europe, definitely New Orleans, and one will become human.

If Stefan got the cure his story would be over. It would be everything he really wanted, a 'normal' human life, like he said in the pilot. So, since TVD never gives the characters what they want, I think it's unlikely to be Stefan, although I'd be fine with it. I just doubt it. Stefan and Caroline can go explore NO, though. That works for me.  But it would also go against what happened in the books directly, so I kinda doubt they'd stray that far from the book storyline, but I guess you never know. |

I was actually thinking that about stefan being the one to take the cure as the twist. Maybe he loses his memory or maybe something else happens but you're right him taking the cure would be what he wanted not unless someone forced him into taking it knowing he would give it to Elena before himself. But I still think Damon will be the one. Or maybe silas bc if it's not silas then they going to have to deal with him as the villain in season five? |

I was thinking maybe Silas would start killing off people until they 'comply' with giving him the cure. That last 'illusion' with Caroline seemed like he was not messing around.

Had the originals not been happening it would be huge if Klaus got the cure or something happened to matt. I agree with ruby I doubt they would stray that far from the book but they did with Katherine.
