What is up with the plaid? I'm really starting to think Damon and Bonnie will be in some AU universe at first and not realize something is wrong, but something will tip them off...I think the key is that Grams said Bonnie would find 'peace,' and that peace may be artificially (magically) created.  In order for that to work they'd have to have no memory of their lives at first, but maybe Damon's love for Elena will break through it all or something...who knows?  It's very curious and strange though....everything we've seen so far.  Nothing is really familiar like they said, plaid instead of leather!

Yeah I think that it could be though that fireplace looks kind of different...I don't feel like analyzing fireplaces but the style of the furniture looks about right.

“The Vampire Diaries” Season 6 Spoilers: New Promotional Photo Shows Damon and Bonnie; Are We Seeing a ‘Crossover’ from “The Originals;” One Main Character Will Die at the End of the Season?

The previous photos show Salvatore brothers (Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder) with Elena (Nina Dobrev). This time around, the new photo features Bonnie (Kat Graham) with Damon (Somerhalder), hinting a possible focus on the brewing romance between the two.

Meanwhile a new spoiler suggests that Alaric (Matthew Davis) may end up coming face to face with either Klaus (Joseph Morgan) or Elijah (Daniel Gillies). This is after reports that Plec is currently working on a "crossover" with the "The Vampire Diaries'" spinoff "The Originals."

New spoilers for the upcoming sixth season of "The Vampire Diaries" suggest that Alaric may wind up coming face to face with either Klaus or Elijah. Also, it's possible that Damon Salvatore, Stefan Salvatore, or Elena Gilbert may die at the end of the season but this time, their passing will be permanent.

The executive producer did not reveal how vampires Klaus or Elijah could visit Mystic Falls. However, she hinted that after the first crossover, that is reportedly happening in the first part of the season, the two characters hang out with Alaric every once in a while.

Another news that sent fans in the online community abuzz is the report that claims one of the three main characters (Elena, Stefan, and Damon) may die at the season finale. Making things worse, the report suggest that the character will be permanently dead.

Rumor has it that one of the three actors is hesitant to sign a contract for a seventh season, while the other two have already agreed to return.

The Vampire Diaries” Season 6 Spoilers: Damon and Bonnie to Return in ‘Some Form or Another’ and Develop ‘Intense Connection’

Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) died in the previous season's last episode, leaving fans in shock and disbelief as the two are main characters of the show. Plec, however, revealed that the two will be returning in some form or another in the new season.

The showrunner said in an interview with TVLine that it will take some time for Damon and Bonnie to get used to where they currently are.

"They'll be aware that they're no longer where they thought they were-but they're not dead, per se. They'll be asking a lot of questions, along with the audience, including: What's going on? Where the hell are we? And how do we get home?" Plec shared.

other reports, it is suggested the possibility of Damon developing an "intense connection" with Bonnie. The two characters had romantic connection in the books, but in the series, the two hated each other. Plec hinted that the two could become close in the next season, but she revealed that a future romance would depend on the on-screen chemistry of the two actors playing the characters.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 will air on Oct. 2 on The CW.

Hm interesting with the witchy stuff. I certainly didn't see that coming. Though I wonder how in depth it is, as in if it's just that a hallucination where it's all in her mind or if she is actually talking to Damon through dimensions.

And as always the youtube comments are a blast with the bitter fan hate lol

Apparently, it is suggested that Elena is turning to drugs so that she can see Damon.  If that is the case, then the Gilberts have a very negative way in handling any kind of death, because Jeremy also turned to drugs when his parents died.  That is not a good sign.

What is even more disturbing is the fact that neither Elena nor Jeremy have turned to each other in their hour of grief.  If anyone should understand how the other is feeling then these two should have.

One of the things the scriptwriters have done is adapt a lot of the TVD books to fit in with whatever storyline they are planning for the season, and one of the things that occured to me in regards to where Damon and Bonnie are is what if the place they are in not only involves traveling through different time zone to only find themselve in the same place but in a different time.

What if it is not only time travel but time itself. For instance one of the things that occured in the books was in regards to Damon, Bonnie, Elena and Meredith's time spent in the Dark Dimentions (travelling through all the diffeent dimentions,) it took them weeks, yet on their return they found that only hours had passed. What if the same thing is happening to Damon and Bonnie, it is possible that the four months for the rest of the gang are actually years for Damon and Bonnie, that their time zone is different in the AU.
