HAHAHA so true! Yeah, like Jamie said, "I reckon one of us should ken what they're doing," My favorite sex scene with them was in the meadow when he says he'll give her what she deserves, cause she was laughing at him. Too bad it got cut short... I'm sure there will be lots more fun scenes to come. But I read there will also be some controversial stuff ahead. In one of the articles there is mention of a certain scene coming up that they do intend to put in the series...and to avoid spoilers for anyone who doesn't want them, I will just link to this article about the scene and why it's controversial and one woman's take on it: LINK

It's not something I'm looking forward to. I spoiled myself and read Wikipedia. But I'm gonna finish the book before April so I'll be spoiled anyway. I just know my heart is gonna break into a million pieces. My husbands gonna wonder why I'm crying like he just died when that episode airs. Also I tried desperately to find out if I was part Scottish. Nope. I just had to be Welsh. Damn it! Lol I wonder if I can find a video if all of Jamie's deep throat grunting.

Wow!!! That was amazing. I gotta tell my friend tami about these videos. She's the one who got me on outlander and she's read all the books. She even had a meet & greet luncheon with Diana the author. But their chemistry is undeniable. Jamie is just so sweet yet so fierce in his caring for Claire. He gives me butterflies the way Damon used to when he'd protect Elena! JP should watch this show. Take a hint it two. Jamie is so much better than Frank. I can't believe she ran to the stones. Ok yes I can but my gosh she could have left jamie forever! And jamie in the window seal as Randal was going to **** Claire just makes me love him more. Can I marry him? Forget Christian Grey!

I actually get why she ran to the stones. She'd just been attacked (was she actually r@ped or nearly? That was unclear..) and I think she ran to what was familiar and comforting to her, her own world. I think she would have regretted it had she actually made it back, though. I don't think it had anything to do with choosing Frank over Jamie.

As much as I wanna call her nuts I get why she ran back to the stones. And I agree it wasn't so much choosing one man over the other as in she made a promise to get to those stones and there they were. Those stones were such a focal point in her sanity in a world unknown. A world and ideal that terrified her. I think had she not tried being that close to the stones again she'd regret it forever. But seeing the redcoats stopping her makes me think or solidifies the idea that she belongs in Jamie's world not Franks.

Actually the thing Doppel is talking about here is something else entirely Sweet. It's something that is going to happen probably right after the break is over. If you are reading the book you will find out what it is before others do. And when everyone is on the same page, I will be very interested to see what people's thoughts and reactions are to this situation. I will say, for those who know what scene this is, I am one of the people who was NOT upset by it, in all honesty. I know in this day and age a lot of women will likely have a very different point of view than me, but we can talk about it when everyone's on the same page. I will say that I didn't like it, and I did get emotional about it, but I also understood why it happened, and it makes sense to me.

He does have a fine ass...and yeah, Christian Grey who? I was really only interested in that movie had it been Ian and it isn't so...they may royally screw it up as well so I'm kind of glad it isn't Ian anyway.

It's a pretty pivotal scene and I guess the one that follows and why it happened. She made Jamie a promise, too, to stay put! and she didn't... It is pretty well explained how confused she was feeling at that moment though and that did make a difference in why she did what she did. Claire who usually thought things out rather carefully made a rash decision when she saw those stones again. That had been her goal to go back all along and she was already angry with herself for allowing herself to be diverted away from that goal.

I don't think it had anything to do with choosing Frank over Jamie. I totally agree. I think the assault reminded her of how dangerous a world she was living in, and also how alone she was. Yes, she has Jamie, but they still barely know each other. She was married to Frank for years, and she had been madly in love with him at one point. She and Jamie have only known each other for a few months. She doesn't know how he'll react in all situations yet, she doesn't know if he loves her or not yet (I doubt she thinks he loves her, since she knows he doesn't really know anything about her). She knows Frank loves her, and she knows how the 20th century works. She doesn't have enough reason to really CHOOSE to stay yet. And that combined with the attack and the stones being right there ... of course she was going to try.

This story is just so darn good though! It's such a unique take on a historical romance with the time travel element and I found it interesting that she hadn't intended to even do that but Claire was just too modern for her to be in that time...what a fantastic idea!

That's a reality that she didn't have to live in her life with Frank in 1945.
