I hope we get to see Damon as a child...omg...I'm getting myself all excited over this episode now. Can we have it NOW please? I hope they remain true to the books in how much Damon loved his Mother and that her 'death' was the start to him locking away his feelings so he wouldn't be hurt. The reason I have hope that she is still alive is because of what Stefan said about his father 'sending her away' when she was dying. Why would he send her away? If they never actually saw her die or had a body to bury than in this world she could be very much alive!

I think there could be some relationship between the Gemini coven and the Salvatores and that's why all these stories are coming at us now. From wiki:
Thomas Fell lived in the mid 19th century, belonging to one of the Founding Families of Mystic Falls. He was killed by Stefan Salvatore shortly after the town had burned. Thmoas Fell was married to Honoria Fell. His name derivative is 'twin.'
So we will meet Thomas (again) Lily and August (Augustines?) We know the Fells despised vampires and that Thomas was behind rounding up all the vampires and burning them in the church. We also know Liv and Luke were assigned to stop the Travelers from what they were doing...everything must be related somehow! There's all these loose ends and it would be cool if there is some explanation for it all.

All the various Fells from wiki. Not much to go with there....except that they keep appearing! A relatable storyline would be that the Salvatore Mother was a Fell and she was turned and that is why the Fells and the Salvatores started hunting down vampires and why they hate them so much and started that legacy which may have also branched out into the Augustines through August who wanted to use the vampire blood to help humans rather than hurt them. Elena's Dad was also involved with that. So all the founding families were pretty involved with vampire hunting. The "Parkers" were never listed as founding families from that area so I don't know how that all relates or if it even does.:

The Fell Family is one of the Founding Families of Mystic Falls in The Vampire Diaries. Members of the Fell Family tend to be news reporters or doctors. The Fell Family has been linked to the Salvatore Family, the Gilbert Family, the Forbes Family and the Lockwood Family since the mid 1800's.

◾Thomas Keeping Fell: He is listed on the first Founder's Party registry.
◾Honoria Fell: She lived in 1864, was a human and she came to Pearl's Apothecary with a case of vervain elixir and asked that it would be sold at a reduced rate. She also wrote a journal. Stefan killed her.
◾Franklin Fell: was a news reporter during 1953. He reported an "animal attack" at the Salvatore Boarding House on Joseph Salvatore.
◾Tobias Fell: was the Head of the Historical Society. During the episode of Ghost World, says a speech about the past of Mystic Falls after what happened with vampires. He is killed by Frederick.
◾Thomas Vincent Fell III: was raised in Mystic Falls, and a friend to the Gilbert Family. He was head of the Mystic Falls Militia Community. He was turned into a vampire by Enzo and died at the no-magic Mystic falls border.
◾Logan Fell: was a news reporter at WPKW9 in Mystic Falls. He is Jenna's ex-boyfriend and cheated on her with a woman named Monica, prompting Jenna to leave Mystic Falls.
◾Meredith Fell: is a young woman in her 20s, sexy, savvy. Returns to Mystic Falls after getting her degree at an Ivy League university. She appears in The New Deal for the first time. She's in the Mid 20s, Lebanese on her mother's side, pretty, intelligent, spitfire personality. A med school graduate with a natural curiosity for life.
◾Blair Fell: was a student at Mystic Falls High School. She entered the Miss Mystic Falls Pageant 2009. Blair mentions that she was Miss Mystic Falls 2008.
◾Tina Fell: was a student at Mystic Falls High School. She along with her cousin Blair, entered the Miss Mystic Falls Pageant 2009. Tina mentions doing community service for a DUI conviction.
◾Valerie Fell: was a participant of Miss Mystic Falls 2010
◾Thomas Vincent Fell III: (now known as Tripp Cooke or Tripp Fell) was a recurring character who made his appearance in Season 6. He took his mother's maiden name after his father left them.

Wow! Well Damon should be a bit older than Stefan would be...hmmmm But I sure hope we're getting some Salvatore brothers back story. I mean they don't have to focus on the love lives in the show so much but please give us back story! There's still so much they can do! |

I thought I'd look up what doubles can do and found this interesting. These days with computers they can do anything really but I doubt that the cost would be worth it for complicated scenes and the only time they probably use these doubles is for scenes where there are no face shots: A double is someone who is used in place of a cast member where the real actor cannot be used because of danger or other reasons. Doubles usually physically resemble the actor they are replacing (in body size, shape and clothing) and are often dressed in wigs to complete the illusion. Doubles are used for things such as dangerous stunts, sex scenes or scenes requiring nudity where the actor refuses to do it, situations where the same actor must appear to confront themselves and so on. One very clever use of a double was in the film The Crow. In order to complete the film after Brandon Lee's accidental death on set, the filmmakers shot a couple of critical scenes using a body double (someone that looked like Brandon physically). In post-production the effects team digitally super-imposed Brandon's face over that of the double. The effect worked seamlessly. Screw the haters who whine about Delena being all about sex....what a crock of crap! But wow I can almost feel their pulses racing in this video...Delena is AMAZING and will always be the best ship ever!

Hm so when do you think those flashbacks with the Salvatore kids will happen? Judging by the ep descriptions for both 6x13 and 6x14 those seem unlikely. 6x15 is where it mentions Damon revisiting painful memories of his mother but it'd be odd for him to be a toddler in that flashback since how would he remember something at that age? Although I guess they could do a sort of 'general' flashback or something.
Anyways if those casting calls are fairly new then I guess it could be around maybe the 6x17-6x20 range. |

Not seeing much Delena here....they've already had too many snoozer episodes this season so I hope things start to pick up!
How is it like to celebrate one birthday alone? Bonnie (Kat Graham) will soon find out in the upcoming episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 6.
In the episode titled "The Day I Tried to Live," Elena (Nina Dobrev) does everything she can to bring Bonnie back to the present day in time for her birthday. This is why she asks for the help of her brother Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) to try for the last time to save Bonnie from being stuck in 1994.
The trio attempts to repair the broken ascendant that brought Bonnie back to the past, but things start to go awry faster than expected after they manage to send an important message to Bonnie. Could Elena and the boys successfully bring her back?
Elsewhere in the episode, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline's (Candice Accola) friendship grow stronger as the younger Salvatore brother continues to look after her to make sure that she is coping well despite all the problems that surround her.
Still, Stefan is not safe against the threats of Enzo's (Michael Malarkey) wrath since the former Augustine prisoner is hell-bent to take revenge against Damon's brother. To make life harder for Stefan, Enzo involves the Salvatores' great niece Sarah (Tristin Mays) so that Stefan will be greatly bothered. Enzo uses the reluctant Matt (Zach Roerig) to mess with Sarah in the upcoming episode.
Ultimately, Jeremy has to make one of the biggest decisions in his life in this episode. Can he really leave his elder sister Elena and the rest of his loved ones in Mystic Falls for good after their lives are put in danger while saving Bonnie?
The thirteenth episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 6 is scheduled to air on Feb. 5. It will be followed by the episode titled "Stay" that will air on Feb. 12.

Oh my gosh I love this so much!!! If their mother didn't actually die but turned, it would explain why their father mistreated Damon so much if he looked like her, reminded him of her and all that cliché stuff so he took his anger out on Damon for their mother leaving them because his mother was no longer around to be angry with. Seems like her personality may be a female version of Damon as well. Lily is described as caustic and fiercely loyal to the people that she loves. I mean Lily could be anyone but she certainly does fit for the Salvatore Mom. Then again she could also be the mother of the Gemini coven but I believe she was supposed to have died as well, but she also resembles Jo. So who knows. If she turns out to be the Gemini Mom I will be disappointed though cause I don't care about them and I want to see the Salvatore history so badly! However that flashback says 1800s so I think it's a better chance she relates to the Salvatores in some way and now we know Damon is going to be talking about his Mother that episode. She looks like Damon to me. The eyes. Their dad favors Stefan more. I don't think this is Stefan's mom though. I think the reason why Damon has so much dark features is because of her. And yes that's why his father treated him bad. he looks like her and he resents her memory for some reason. Maybe a vampire. Maybe a witch? I could definitely see her being a witch because of the Bennett deals with Damon. Ok I'm going to go way more twisty. What if she is the Gemini mom and Damon's mom. But if she's a witch then she would be dead by now, since Damon was born in like 1840. Considering what a big abomination of nature witches consider people who play around with immortality, I doubt any witch has really dared mess with it since Silas. So either she's really dead like she's supposed to be, or she's a vampire. They have not yet ever hinted in this show that Damon and Stefan have different mothers. If they decide to go that route, its going to need a lot of backstory explanation, in my opinion. I feel like that's a weird thing to throw out there this late in the game. But, it's possible that THEY don't know. Maybe that's a mystery they will uncover? For me though, it's a little weird to imagine that the Salvatore mom is a vampire. Just because they already did that storyline with Isabel, you know? It would be a little odd to have Elena and Stefan and/or Damon find out they all had secret vampire moms ... I don't know, maybe that's just me. I think I would rather find out their mom was a witch and have there be some kind of dark mystery about how she died. But have her really still be dead. People popping up randomly when you think they're dead happens too much on this show. I would rather be surprised about the story itself, like what happened to her and who was involved. That's just my personal feelings at the moment. |
