I need to find some Steroline/Staroline shippers to play in here and fast!!! What do u mean? I mean I want this thread to go crazy with images, talk and speculation. We need more shippers in here. =) |

I need to find some Steroline/Staroline shippers to play in here and fast!!! I'll play around with you in here! I've also been a Staroline shipper since the start of season 2 and I love how their personalities mesh so well. But then of course as the season went on Caroline was put with Tyler, and then there was all the Klaroline stuff and having Caroline deemed as the 'new Lexi' I was beginning to think the writers wouldn't go there. But now it seems like the door has opened again. And there's also a question that's been floating around in my head. Who would you want to be the one to 'make a move first' so to speak. To me it's kind of up in the air. I like the thought of both scenarios. I like the idea of Stefan referencing what Caroline said about him falling in love before he knows it and then have Stefan go up to Caroline and tell her about how he was beginning to fall in love with her and everything. But I also like Caroline sort of reflecting on her past relationships and then talking about how her and Stefan weren't with the right people before or something to that effect. So as of right now for me it's up in the air who makes a move first lol |

Yep happy to be here! And with that scenario you gave I could see Caroline wanting to distance herself from Stefan and pretend like the kiss meant nothing. But like you said we'll get to see the struggle between the two along the way.

Oh yes I can see Caroline bring Stefan back more than I can ever see Elena. I think Stefan and Care are so meant for each other. I'd actually start liking him (cause I don't hate him) if he were to be seen in a real compatible relationship. Care respects him so much and even admires him. She and he became friends first. They built this friendship and although annoying this season their friendship has always made me happy because I always saw something more between them!

Oh I didn't even know that trended! That's awesome! Hope JP was sent a sceenshot of it lol
And you're right, Steroline did actually built up a foundation in friendship first before jumping straight into a romance like SE did. She already trusts Stefan and she's grateful to him for what he did for her when she was in transitioning.
Tyler seems to have been written off and Klaus is getting his own show. I see Caroline hanging out with Stefan even more next season. In the disguise of 'helping him to move on'. Maybe she'll try to get him to go places like Mystic Grill or throw parties to aid in his search to find someone new. We could get a bunch of reluctant Stefan all, 'Nah I don't want to be fun.' and everything and Caroline urging him on. This relationship will be so fun to see play out lol

I wish it could happen, not because I like these two characters much, even though I want to like them but just because it sucks that both brothers are in love with one girl and that can never work. Someone will always be unhappy and out of the two of them, Stefan seems like he could move on. He keeps saying he's going to and if he fell in love again with Caroline then they could all be happy and the brothers wouldn't lose each other over a girl. It is also very significant that it was Caroline and Stefan having this talk and that Caroline appears to be 'available' now.
Both brothers deserve to be loved fully by the girl they love and Stefan never will be now that Elena has obviously fallen for Damon so he'd be selling himself short sticking around waiting for seconds from her. It seems unlikely that she will fall back into love with Stefan now that she has moved on. It seems the most logical for him to fall for someone else now and Caroline is the type of girl best suited for him, plus she's been a fangirl of his since the very beginning, so she will appreciate him and not be torn.
I think Stefan's 'card' is about him giving up Elena to his brother and moving on. That would be the 'honorable' thing to do. Of course this is just my opinion. He knows that Katherine caused them a huge rift and neither brother wants that again. If he moved on and was happy with someone else then both brothers could feel good and not guilty or angry about this happening again with them.
This way, Stefan could get the good girl who loves him with all her heart and Caroline could get her fairy tale romance that she so seems to desire and Stefan would have stepped out of the cycle he and Damon have been in that he recognized, history repeating itself with him being the angry, bitter and jilted one this time. This is how he can finally be free of that with his brother and still not lose him again.

Ok so this is how I want Steorline to go down. They need a kiss in the finale. Damon almost dies, gets fed cure. Elena while Damon is dying gets her humanity back and professes her true love for Damon once the cure is ingested and they are waiting to see if it works on him. Hence SB gone. Caroline and Stefan are there watching and helping Elena with Damon. Stefan realizes Elena has moved on and really loves his brother. After a happy DE reunion we cut to Stefan at the Salvatore house. Caroline walks in and pours him a drink. She hands it to him. They have a little conversation about how sucky this year has been and how they both have been through a lot. The Caroline says...
Caroline: I would have never gotten through this year without you Stefan.
Stefan: (Smiles) Ya without you, I might have turned ripper.
Caroline: I told you I would never let you go dark. I would always be there.
Stefan: Thanks so much for always being there.
Caroline: We are both heart broken. Gosh why does this crap happen to the good people Stefan? (Such a Care thing to say)
Stefan: I don't know how good I am really. You on the other hand.
Caroline: I'm sick of being good. I'm sick of always doing the right thing.
Stefan: So be reckless for once.
Caroline: Stefan.
Stefan: I'm already there.
(They begin to kiss and tear off each others clothes)

@sweet I liked that scenario! I could see Stefan saying something like that when he makes a move, taking all of Caroline's advice and saying something like, 'This is me moving on.' or 'I'm going to let loose and have fun.' and surprise Caroline with a kiss or something lol
