Good Or Bad??? I vote bad!!!!!!!!! I am not happy he did this. I have already read spoilers on how Klaus will twist this into Stefan causing trouble for the town of Mystic so to me I think it's dumb move. It's about revenge and at the end of the day do we take out revenge on the one guy who we cant kill but can kill all of us? I know it can be leverage but at the end of the day Klaus is powerful and he will kill all of his loved ones and cause so much trouble around town that even if Stefan kills or destroys somehow a relative the consequences will be too grave for his friends to forgive him. What if someone dies? Would Elena or Damon just forgive him like that because he was seeking revenge? Is revenge worth putting people in trouble? At first i was like DAMN Steffy you got some balls! Roll with it. But then I thought after seeing the next episode clip... "this is gonna back fire"! And then I see all of these spoilers and I'm worried. I think this might be Stefan's dumbest move yet. I hope he proves me wrong somehow!

I think it's a pretty stupid idea on his part, for whatever the reason. He just got freed from Klaus and Klaus himself was ready to pack it up, wake his family, and go on about his business. Instead, you have Katherine egg him on and he ends up taking the coffins which is going to do nothing but keep Klaus in town and tormenting his friends. It just lacks any real foresight/thought of consequences as it stands right now.
Then again, Klaus wanted the Ripper and this is what he's getting. Stefan was on a leash for the past 3-ish months and now that he's free, he's going to play his Ripper games and try and get some payback on Klaus.
Still, it's stupid on his part for what we know right now.

Definitely agree. I thought it was pretty dumb from the beginning. I don't even understand the logic behind it at all. I think Stefan let Katherine get in his head, and as a result is making some very poor decisions.
I guess I just don't understand what he's expecting to gain from taking the coffins. It's like poking a bear with a stick. Obviously it will piss Klaus off, and we all know what happens when Klaus gets upset. He's going to target the people closest to Stefan. Elena, Damon and everyone else he knows is in serious danger, maybe even the entire town of MF.
I guess I don't understand why Stefan would do this after going to such lengths to protect Elena and Damon in the first place. It kind of makes all his sacrificing pointless, if he's just going to turn around and put them directly in danger with his actions.
Once (if) Klaus kills everyone he loves, what will Stefan do then? Klaus would find him eventually as they both are immortal, so he'd essentially be running for the rest of his life.
All in all I don't think this is Stefan's best moment, maybe one of his worst.

I also think it was a stupid move... i mean i think Klaus was going to leave him alone and Stefan just got freed of compulsion. So it just caused more trouble... Now Klaus will be even more angry and i think when he gets his family back he'll just be really pissed. Bad idea to get Klaus pissed. Oh well..

After everything Klaus did to him i can see why he would be upset and want revenge.

Stefan is just testing Klaus's love for him!! No, really, though.. I think it was stupid. He's finally free.. and he is still messing with Klaus? Why? I get that Klaus basically took everything from him, so I can understand him being angry, and wanting revenge. But I don't know.. I think it was a bad idea. Stefan! I won't mind watching how this all plays out though.. ;D

I'm wondering if Katherine got Stefan drunk and planted the idea to steal the family in his head. Otherwise, it makes no logical sense to do what he did. He had to be under the influence, high, out of his mind, on the 'stuff', hopped up, etc.. Katherine had to give him one hell of a pitch to go through with that.

There has to be more to it, is what I am thinking, some underlying reason why he wanted Klaus messing around in Mystic Falls or something. Katherine put him up to it, and she's always scheming so there's got to be something else we don't know yet.

It would really make a lot more sense if there's something else they're not telling us. Something to make this whole thing make a little more sense. But based on some of the interviews I've read, it seems like what we see is what we get. Only way to find out is when the show returns.

When it first happened, I was like, "WHAT?!?!?" But, as time goes on I'm kind of liking it. We haven't seen enough to really know what the exact plan is. But, maybe it'll bring good. Honestly, I'm kind of glad Stefan is attempting to get revenge. Also, it may work in some way. He has a pretty big advantage having all the coffins. But when the new episode comes on, I could be saying "Stefan you idiot". Right now, I'm kind of enjoying it.
