The battle of Castle Black was epic stuff! They dedicated the entire episode to it, though I'm not happy being left hanging on Tyrion's fate! I won't spoil it since it just aired last night but there was one death that I was sad to see happen which ended an ongoing storyline I was enjoying watching unfold.

I won't spoil it since it just aired last night but there was one death that I was sad to see happen which ended an ongoing storyline I was enjoying watching unfold. That was an intense episode. I liked it though. They've never done that before, have the entire episode in one place. I liked it, it created the opportunity for more fluent storytelling. I kind of wish they would do that more. Even though it would be frustrating to have to wait for the sections with the characters that are my favorites, it would help focus the story and make it less confusing I think. Also you would be able to do more character building within an episode. There are how many separate storylines right now? Let's see, there's Danny and Co. in Meereen, there's Brienne on the road with Pod looking for the Stark girls, There's Arya and the Hound, there's Sansa and Little Finger in the Eyrie, there's Bran and his crew beyond the Wall, there's John at the Wall, there' Stanis and Devos and their army ... somewhere lol (were they in Braavos? at the Iron Bank? I forget), there's Theon and Ramsay in the North, and then there's everyone at King's Landing. Am I missing anyone? In any case, that's at least 9 separate storylines taking place ... and god knows how many character lol. I think it would be great if they did every other episode all in one place. Like take the major areas where the most characters are and have whole episodes dedicated to them. Like a whole episode in King's Landing, and then the next episode a combo with all the people who are traveling, like Arya, Brienne, and Bran (and Rickon and that Wildling woman Osha, we haven't seen them all season! What happened to them?). Then the next episode have all take place in Meereen with Danny and Co., and the next episode a combo with people like Theon, Sansa and Little Finger, and Stanis (Stanis and his storyline are my least favorite of everyone, with the exception maybe of Ramsay and Theon, so as little time on either of them as possible is my preference). Then a whole episode at the Wall, and then the next episode maybe a combo of everyone. And then just follow that pattern. Anyways .... that's my idea lol. Meanwhile, as I said I liked the battle at the Wall. I like Jon, I think he needs more screen time so he can have more character development. And maybe some new characters for him to interact with. Like a new love interest. I'm sad about Ygritte, she was an interesting character. A little volatile for Jon maybe lol, but I liked her. I also liked a lot of the guys who died at the wall this episode. They need fresh blood at the wall now! There were some epic deaths, that's for sure. Like the guy who got catapulted by the giant's spear, or the guy Jon killed with a hammer. But the best was the swinging anchor thing that wiped the wildlings off the wall. That was hard core. I wanted more of Ghost ripping people to shreds though. I'm sure the direwolves must be expensive CGI, but I still wish they had them more often. And now that Arya is out on her own, I wish they would reunite her with her direwolf. Anyways, finale is this weekend! I hope they don't leave us on a devastating cliffhanger, wondering if Tyrion lives or dies. I hope Jamie helps him escape. If he actually gets killed it's going to suck. He's my favorite character. What do you think is going to happen in the finale?

What do you think is going to happen in the finale? I think the Blackwater episode was all one epic battle too, which is cool. Someone suggested Jon and Dany together and I was like Ohhhh....I never thought of that. I'd ship it! They'd be so cute together...yeah, let's go for that! Except someone else suggested they might be related...darn it... but since when has that stopped GoT?

Nope! I refuse to accept that. Something will be done to fix it. They have to. I know it looked bad .... but nope, just nope.

The writers are saying it's true. But then there is that witch who conveniently showed up and has been known to do resurrections...
