So It took me longer than I usually do to read the first book in The Infernal Devices but I finally finished Clockwork Angel and I might say it was awesome. I didn't find it to drag like some people claimed it would and it was pretty well written.
Some people say the characters are similar to Jace, Clary and Alec and Isabel but I really see no similarities. Well Maybe Clary and Tessa in the sense they read certain expressions of love or jealousy as if they were blind lol but besides that i can definitely tell them apart
While Jace is a sarcastic but yet charming William is confident and rude lol
I can't wait to start the second. I wonder if the Mortal Instruments is going to go big in Hollywood. I sure hope so because thats 6 books plus if they go with filming the prequels. lol

Ok so Im finishing up the second bok to the infernal devices and I must say this is one of the best love triangles I have read about and the funny thing is that this author doesnt even make the triangle the center of whats going on. But its crazy because its an actual love triangle. the girl admitting she loves both and she goes back and fourth without her being able to stop it and both best friends not even knowing how they each feel for her. AWESOME it has me torn on who to actually go for which i have my preference but not without thinking dag what about the other guy. I recommend them

Good to hear. And that's how a love triangle should be: where both options are built up well enough that you're fine with either one. That's what I hate about TVD's: it's lopsided to Damon with the development like Stefan is an afterthought (and where I feel he's not that great of an option because of the way development has been handled) and on top of that, Elena's "I don't know"/non-answers to Damon/on both Brothers. Not only that, but everything in the show is designed with the triangle as the center point =\

yea i recommend the infernal devices series the third book comes out in march and it ties into things that are going on in The Mortal Instruments which is kind of cool. And some familiar characters like Magnus Bane =)

Jocelyn, Hodge and Magnus Bane now cast, 'City of Bones' added as the official subtitle to the movie as well: Lena Headey (300, "Game of Thrones"), Jared Harris ("Mad Men," Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows) and Godfrey Gao (All About Women) have joined the cast of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, which has also added that subtitle to its official production name.
Headey will play Jocelyn Fray, Harris will play Hodge Starkweather, and Gao is set to portray Magnus Bane. They join the previously-announced Lily Collins as Clary Fray, Jamie Campbell Bower as Jace Wayland, Robert Sheehan as Simon Lewis, Jemima West as Isabelle Lightwood, Kevin Durand as Emil Pangborn and Robert Maillet as Samuel Blackwell.ComingSoon.netHeadey bothers me. I noticed a few roles ago that she seems to constantly have her eyebrow cocked and it's f***ing annoying to me.

They're not going ahead with movie sequels for it? The movie picked up near the end but I didn't care for the earlier parts. So now that they've got a footing, I'd be interested in seeing how they continue with that (finding the others).
