Well the webclip for 4x12 certainly riled up my tolerance for Stefan. It's really hard to like him and feel for his character when he makes constant jabs at Damon. And not even just Damon, Elena as well. I'm not liking how Stefan's character is around Damon or Elena. And referring to Damon as a villain? Telling Klaus to bleed him out if he annoys him? In fact having Klaus as the one to 'babysit' Damon in the first place? Are you kidding me? What's stopping Klaus from killing Damon? The two of them has had so many run ins with each other and Damon is in a weak state right now. I'm really tired of how the writers are portraying Stefan.  ![]() |

I was extremely annoyed by Stefan in the webclip too. He's really making my skin crawl at this point. I wish they'd snap his neck every once in awhile just to get him to shut up and stop feeling sorry for himself.  |

You know Steffy looked good in that web clip but his attitude stunk! Look dude I know your mad but come on! Telling Klaus he can drain your brother if he annoys him because your pissed at him is just plain ASS Face to me. I'm just glad Damon has a Whatever the F attitude about it or it'd make it more difficult for us. I'm glad they are making Damon snarky instead of being upset that his brother is being a grade A douche head!

The writing around Stefan's character has gotten to the point where I pretty much roll my eyes whenever he shows up on screen. I understand that the writers want to showcase Stefan having a dark side right now, but does that really have to include Stefan not showing one ounce of something besides being a general asshat to every single character on the show?
It's literally getting to the point where I can't suspend disbelief around this character anymore, and am starting to crack up laughing every time Stefan shows up. That is not a good sign.

I've also gotten to the point where I find myself laughing at the ridiculous Stefan lines. Although its annoying how what comes out of Stefan's mouth is going to be used by the characters and fans as the absolute truth.
It makes no sense to me why Stefan would think of Damon as a villain at this point in time. But like Sweet said its good that Damon is being snarky with it and not upset. It makes it just a bit easier to bare.

I'm the same... Now when he comes on screen I laugh. Some things still bug me but most of the time I'm like really? Why is the only people he's nice to the girl he is screwing and the girl who wants to screw him?

Okay seriously, someone explain this to me and use small words because clearly I'm not intelligent enough for this show.
Why is Damon considered a villain and Stefan is considered a hero? Because Stefan went on a bunny diet for 5 minutes? They have both done heinous and despicable things and murdered hundreds of people, yet Damon is evil and Stefan is good deep down and just misunderstood? Or he has a blood addiction so he can't control it so he's let off the hook? I just don't get it. I really don't.
Stefan forced Elena to drink his blood and threatened her life in the worst possible way while NOT under compulsion. And yet he is still the hero? She hasn't even asked for his forgiveness for that. Honestly she seems more ticked off that he slept with Rebekah.
Speaking of Rebekah, I feel bad for her because it's obvious she has real feelings for Stefan and Stefan is just lying to her and using her. And Elena has every right to be angry, not out of jealousy but because Stefan is sleeping with the woman responsible for her death. I think she's allowed to be upset over that.
OMG and Klaus today. Sweet jesus, ENOUGH already. WE GET IT. No matter what Stefan does his love will always be pure and true and Elena will always love him more because she could never love someone like Damon without supernatural compulsion involved. Stefan is clearly the wronged party here. Elena and Damon should be begging for his forgiveness.
And the compulsion thing? These writers must really think we're idiots. Yes Stefan resisted the compulsion AT FIRST. 5 seconds later Klaus compelled him to turn off his feelings and bite Elena and HE DID. Real strong feelings of love there. Definitely stronger than whatever Damon is capable of feeling.
I just...UGH. If they are going to put Stefan and Elena back together, whether or not they are end game, they should just do it so I can stop watching. I am sick and tired of these people always siding with Stefan no matter what he has done wrong. He is such a self-righteous sanctimonious a$$. If Elena is just going to go back to him, she shouldn't waste Damon's time.
Okay rant over for now.

That's all par for the course Raven, but I think in the end they will all be found to be dead wrong about Damon and Stefan and who they really are and I think that's the real point to the ridiculous assumptions those people make about them.
