Yeah, all of the crazy logic from the characters that only see Stefan as good and Damon as bad makes my head hurt too. It disgusts me that no one ever mentions the Wickery Bridge (sp?) and lack of apology or having to do anything to make up for all the crap he did in Season 3. But with Damon, the first thing you hear is always "He snapped Jeremy's neck!" Which was two seasons ago and he's changed a lot since then. Ugh.

How awesome was Stefan to try to sneak out of Rebekah's bed? Because clearly that's not going to make her feel used.
Thank you, once again, Stefan for throwing the SB in Damon's face.
I'd like to point out that the only reason Elena is 'sired' is because you let the so called love of your life drown.

The punch was well deserved for sure! The nerve of him claiming that Damon has taken advantage of the sire bond ticked me off, especially since he really doesn't know crap. Since finding out about this stupid SB he has not once taken advantage of it. But if Stef says it's so, then it must be!  |

Likewise when he found out about Elena being in love with Damon in 4x10 he proceeded to say, 'I'm done with her.' in 4x11.  I don't think Stefan cares about Damon that much to be honest. Of course he's going to save him when in danger but he could care less about him outside of that fact. If he really did care about Damon he wouldn't be putting him down so much or trying so hard to convince Damon/himself that Elena's feelings for him are only a result of the sire bond. I like how they came out in the last episode with Stefan's caring line to Bekah and how they inserted Damon in there. 'Even Damon.' It just made me laugh because okay caring about Damon should have been a given not something tacked on like its a surprise to him that he cares about Damon. I don't buy it at all. |

I know in the end if it's life and death Stefan will save Damon if he can but that hasn't precluded him from leaving him to be tortured (by Bekah, not really knowing if he might die) or otherwise being inactive or slow in his responses when he could make Damon a priority. He never makes Damon a priority. The same cannot be said from Damon's side who went right after the tomb vamps when they captured Stefan, followed Stefan pretty much his entire existence to keep tabs on his well-being including last season when he was Rippering. I just think of the two brothers, Damon is the one who cares the most.

Stefan claims to hate Damon and I think a part of him does. But I know he loves Damon in there too because of the fact they are brothers and nothing more.

I found this and thought it was good in response to people constantly bringing up that Damon killed these people. Of course Damon killed more than that but nothing like Stefan's muderous rampages that earned him the nickname of the Ripper of Monterey and just because there are no faces attached to Stefan's victims on the wall of shame doesn't make them any less innocent victims:  |
