The only reason you're mad and talk crap about him is because he doesn't return the love that Klaus gives him. Klaus did everything for him and Stefan spat in his face.
Not a fan of him in general. Attitude, actions, whatever. He always seems to do something that irks me and it's just been too constant this season. Like, every freaking episode constant. They really dragged his character through the mud this season and I was actually looking forward to his whole Ripper thing which was squandered. His character though is at an all-time low for me (which is saying something), right down there with Elena & Caroline. I'd like to say he can only go up on the ladder but I'm positive he'll be 6ft under at the mid point of S4.

This means I'll have to moderate the anti-Damon one when someone makes it...oh boy...thanks alot.  Hopefully these won't become a big problem. I said how much I despise Stefan I think pretty well in the D&E thread and the Debate thread I made. But in case you missed it, I despise Stefan. He's a lying, manipulative, whiny, brooding, sarcastic, jealous, hypocritical and mean manchild. He's too lazy to even protect his own girlfriend. He treated her like dirt and let's her go off trying to kill herself because he's too much of a wimp to stand up to her. That's not love as far as I can see. |

Can't be mad at Stefan over that...OK, you can, but with Elena, it was bound to happen. The girl is a lightning rod for trouble and eventually, she would have died in some other manner with Damon on watch that even he wouldn't have saw coming. She would have been at a sleepover with Caroline & Bonnie and the roof would have caved in on her playing charades while the other 2 watched. Trouble seems to look for her now in the past year of her life. If it was Stefan, she would have died on Damon's watch either way cause she would have run off from under his watch when one of her buddies decided to 'help' her (Caroline). Replace Damon/Stefan with any of her other friends. Honestly, beyond trapping her in a lamp and burying it under your house, it's happening. Can't hate Stefan too much for that one. EDIT: Was that second picture of her taken off a printed piece of paper? Good lord...  |

Her face is all squished...lol I have no idea. Well, I do blame Stefan because he didn't pull her out of the water. Damon has managed to keep her alive for quite a while now, but Stefan blew it, big time.

Well for Damon, keeping people alive is a very particular skill of his. Stefan, the Ripper...his skill set goes to the other end of the spectrum.
And Stefan's lapse in judgment at that particular moment was his fault which we've debated/brought up. Everyone else just as much factors in (Bonnie not filling in the others on the plan she was pulling off, Jeremy & Matt's ass hat plan to take Elena out of a house that she was *SAFE* in that Bekah didn't have an invitation into let alone Klaus and Damon for sending Stefan back for protection in a situation where Elena's death was tied to the Originals' now mortal enemy). It was a culmination of everyone's poor decisions, just Stefan's being the final one that ended in that event because he couldn't come to the conclusion of freeing Elena and at least giving her a chance to swim on her own or latch onto him.
This show has the 'Elena Factor'. Any life or death equation always includes the 'Elena Factor'. Elena Factor dictates that if your life is in the balance, it is because of a decision Elena made (or didn't) or how you relate to her.

I would too but I think if he does he will be easily forgiven and when Klaus and Caroline happens everyone will be celebrating yet Klaus did more to Caroline and Elena than Damon EVER did and they literally tear Damon apart! ...Cough JENNA.... Cough!

That is true. Damon is treated like crap if he sneezes but I guess we can't blame Klaus for that. After all he might be a part of Team Badass now.  |

True we cant blame Klaus but it is annoying that most SE's do ship Caroline and Klaus yet have fifty reasons why Damon is a horrid person.
