I'm guessing if Xiao's daughter has anything 'extracurricular' going, Oliver gets pulled in (they have a thing maybe?) and gets the tattoo that way. I've also thought of the idea that whatever is going on on the island is connected with Oliver's parents and their little group. Seems too perfect for the ship to have gone down near that island and for Moira to have recovered it so quickly. I'm assuming Fryers' little force maybe recovered it since they were in the area and just had/have no idea that Oliver is related to someone in the group they're working for or something. That's a long stretch though. An interesting one, but a long one.
I wonder if Felicity feels a bit better about the whole situation knowing she wasn't exactly 'wrong' when the one guy got killed (because the Savior? was using the subways). That seemed to really mess her up cause she was sure she was right and helped saved a guy's life only for Oliver to show up with nothing and then to see the target move. I still don't know why Oliver was heading 'upstairs' though. Just from the first kill, I would have assumed 'basement' and looked for that first if I was searching the building. Eh.

Before I do my recap I just want to point out that Tommy is extremely annoying Oooooo I want to see your recap! I knew that tommy and oliver would be the angstiest "frenemies" ever so I'm not surprised I might start to find him annoying, especially since he has Laurel now. I still miss the Tommy and Thea interaction though lol

Finally caught up. I don't get Tommy He's pissed at Oliver for keeping the secret and then he says he understands (and seems to be OK with it to a point) but then in this episode, he's back to the 'jabs' at Oliver about it but covers for Oliver at the same time. In the end, he quits and goes back to his dad. What is his deal? Is he that 'butthurt' over Oliver keeping a secret identity and trying to help better the city from the corrupt? He saved your dad and Laurel too yet you keep taking these jabs at him about killing. Xiao's daughter is quite...talented. I'm liking seeing Oliver get various training/tips from everyone. It seems Xiao's daughter is the one who gets him started on the bow and not Xiao himself like I imagined. I'm wondering now if Xiao is going to end up being the one giving him the least amount of training and it's all on Xiao's daughter who gives him the bulk.

Yea it was pretty cool watching her train him. And Tommy honestly is annoying. He needs to understand Oliver is not the same Oliver and he's here having a hissy fit went back to daddy.

Okay, I was ridiculously behind on this show but I'm now caught up so I'll write down some thoughts before I get to the latest episode. I love Oliver but really? No one can know my secret. Except Digg. And Helena. And Felicity. And freaking Tommy. As for Roy Harper, it looks like Jackson moved to Starling City, changed his name and is now poor. I don't quite understand why he was targeted by that guy but okay. And they got Thea and him together fast. Laruel's mom is River Song (from Dr. Who). I hate River Song with the intensity of 1000 suns. I didn't much like Laruel's mom but I hope that Sara is actually dead. The island bits continue to be the best part of the show. I love Slade. Also, why was this not posted? tvline.com/2013/03/20/arrow-season-2-spoilers-manu-bennett-slade/
As for this past episode, Lance is the WORST detective ever. You get a search warrant and then only open a couple of boxes? WTF? Anything could have been hidden in those boxes. Stupid. The Lances and their dramas continue to be terrible. Again the island parts were the best part of the show. I love Shado training Oliver. The whole slapping the water was very "wax on, wax off" to me.

Which means they could continue the island flashbacks next season. I thought I read some where that the show runners have a 5 year story mapped out including present time and island time. It could be that we'd have 5 years of island story line. Oliver has been back about 8 months and it seems like they've covered just about the same time on the island. There's way more to the island that what we've seen. And like you said, if Slade becomes Oliver's nemesis, we have to see how that happens.

SO to continue to see it would be great. After all when they found oliver he was all by himself no Slade no Shadow No Xiao so lets see.

Glad to see Manu able to jump into another regular role, on a show I'm following no less, since Spartacus is seeing it's final season (think the finale is tonight). From one bad ass (Crixus) to another (Slade).

Manu seems to be having a lot of fun with the role. I couldn't get into the Spartacus after S1 but I liked him in it.
Also, new episode tomorrow!

That's a shame cause the finale is quite something seeing the journey end for a lot of characters that you've come to love. It's kind of saddening and infuriating how they go.
Finally a new episode though. It's a straight shot to the end for Arrow too, right? No more breaks?

So Arrow last night was pretty awesome. I couldn't believe Oliver left dig again and I knew that would be the last straw for dig.
Every episode that goes by Tommy gets more and more on my nerves. It sucks that he decided to leave laurel at a time like this. And once that break up happen I knew dig n Oliver were ending it too.
I love the flashbacks the most. Xiaos daughter is awesome and these flashbacks just make me wonder if the others survived =/
Roy Harpers little speech is I guess the beginning of him becoming the hoods sidekick.

"Arrow": We've all been waiting for the moment when Roy Harper meets Oliver Queen without his hood... and it's coming. Thea confides in Oliver that she and Roy have been looking for the vigilante. "He comes and confronts me and pretty much tells me that it's a bad idea. He's a little stern with Roy. Roy, of course, does his eye-roll, and isn't happy with Oliver, and kind of still thinks Oliver's kind of a wimp," Colton Haynes tells us. Roy is in for a bit of a surprise when he finally does find out the identity of the Hood -- but don't expect it to happen any time soon!
