felicity looks hot
As played by Rickards (who’ll be a series regular come Season 2), Felicity “is our secret weapon that we didn’t even know we had,” Kreisberg adds. “Emily and Felicity have filled every one of our expectations and beyond, for what this character could do for the show.”

Finally got to sit down and watch the past week's episode without distraction and I want Tommy dead. Like, face full of arrows dead. He's become such an annoyance since finding out Oliver's secret and being all judgy or insecure. And I want to say Oliver did Diggle wrong. Poor move on his part IMO.

I agree I thought Oliver should have taken care of Diggy first. That was his promise and he broke it. Tommy I have a speculation he will end up turning bad maybe taking on his father's role and good because he's pissing me off i want him to stop complaining all the damn time. He will be the typical oh I lost everything to oliver bla bla bla

Good episode. Oliver finally finds out his mom and Malcolm are involved and he tracks down Walter too. Probably took everything in him to not take a swing at Malcolm in the end at the Hospital. Wait till he finds out about the boat now that Walter is back. Also looks like Malcolm/Dark Archer are in action again next week.
Did anyone else think 'Monster' during the flashbacks with Oliver, seeing the relationship with him and Laurel and what we know happened (the sister). And he looks weird as hell at that point in time.

Malcolm is Mr. Bad Ass and I was kind of expecting Laurel's dad to bite it but Tommy doing so is just...cupcakes surrounding an already amazing cake and biting into them to find out they're filled with ice cream. That's how good him finally being gone is. I expected an entirely different outcome though.
I kind of like how everything came together with Oliver reaching out to Laurel's dad to help, Oliver's mom going public with the plan and the kicker afterwards finding out that Malcolm had a 2nd device. Oliver told Tommy he didn't kill his dad and if true, I wonder what's in the future for these 2. Still want to know more about where Malcolm went to learn his style.

See I actually felt bad that Tommy died. He didn't get on my nerves this episode and boom they kill him off lol. I think Tommys dad did die but Oliver just spared him the news. I liked how oliver daced his mom which lead her to do the press conference as well as him telling her how his father realy died.
The feel of this finale was dramatic like the end of the world. I thought it was cool.
My favorite scene was the flashback when Oliver shot the guy right through the throat that was awesome.
Also it was good to see roy in action.I'm intrigued to see how he will join forces with the hood.
I absolutely love felicity and wad a little scared for her. I didn't think laurels dad was going to die maybe for a second when the second device went off.
Wonder who's going to be the big bad next season. Possibly the unknown female we saw previously.

If they're adamant about no superpowers (I think eventually they may break that), then I don't see the Wonder Woman/Amazon show being linked and as mentioned for Booster Gold, the time traveling bit is going to be hard to reason into Arrow's universe.
WB/DC is trying so hard to play catch up right now with Marvel in trying to create a unified universe in the live action world. They can't seem to do much outside of Batman and Superman though and with the success of Avengers, I think they'll rush the catch up. Green Lantern fell on it's face and they made no attempts to really get other JL heroes their own movies (Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman). In fact, Marvel is looking to beat them to the punch on getting a quickster on screen if Whedon is adding Quicksilver to the Avengers sequel. I wouldn't be surprised if they do the same with their King of Atlantis, Namor, before DC rolls out anything with Aquaman. If Guardians of the Galaxy gets things right, Marvel could do a Nova movie and get right what DC failed to do with Green Lantern (inter-galactic police force) but that's praying Marvel doesn't use the kid Nova. Can't forget that Agents of SHIELD is Marvel's venture with a show and if it sees similar success to Arrow, then I see them using it as a launchpad to their own lower heroes who don't need big budgets and can do a series (Punisher, maybe Blade again, Daredevil, Luke Cage & Iron Fist in Heroes for Hire although I really want Terry Crews for Cage).
Nolan's Batman trilogy stands on it's own and didn't set up a larger universe and the property is supposed to be rebooted once again when it returns so Man of Steel now is supposed to be the rumored first step for DC's attempt.
The shocking part of all this is DC has all their properties. Marvel doesn't have the movie rights to Spider-Man (Sony Pictures), Fantastic Four or X-Men/Mutants (Fox). And the latter 2 really do hurt them as they encompass Dr. Doom, Galactus & his Heralds (Silver Surfer), the Skrulls and Reed Richards, all very big players/pieces that Marvel could use in the MCU. The only plus is that it's forced Marvel to dig into their roster without having access to 2 of their biggest heroes in Spider-Man and Wolverine or 2 of their most well known/staple teams in Fantastic Four and X-Men. They link up across the board (Doom makes a capable Avenger villain, Galactus + Heralds + Skrulls are a huge missing piece from the Cosmic aspect Marvel is doing with GotG, and Reed is a missing piece of the smartest people in the Marvel universe when we've already got Stark, Banner and Pym on the way with a possible Black Panther/T'Challa too. And if Marvel is able to do Namor, not having the Fantastic Four connection kind of hurts him). If Marvel was ever able to work out something with Sony and Fox to bring them into the mold/MCU, whoo...

Well that was one of the best season finales I have ever seen but was also one of the toughest to watch because of the ending. It really was like watching a sweeping ending in the cinema.
Likes: Oliver's declaration of love for Laurel All of the action scenes The surprise second bomb Mr. Merlyn's speech with the mom's voice mail in the background. The scenes between Thea and her boyfriend, especially the kiss. Oliver's Mom stepping down in order to warn the people of The Glades. Tommy saving Laurel in spite of it all Diggle saves Oliver & their scenes. The detective's "last" speech to Laurel
Dislike: Tommy dying even though it was beautiful and dramatic. I was one of the few that liked him, actually wanted him to end up with Thea, and I feel they could have done a lot more with him.
I wanted a more poignant scene between Oliver and Felicity before he went to the death fight.

All in all, pretty good finale. I liked how there was a back up device so it meant that the good guys didn't completely win. I'm not too sorry that Tommy's dead.
Laurel and Oliver was....expected. Hopefully this means we'll get a nice build up to Oliver and Felicity.
Island flashbacks were great as usual.

I want to see Oliver and Felicity too but I have to see more evidence that its not always going to be Laurel before I hope for him with anyone else seriously. He was even having some serious sexy feelings for Shadow but getting to Laurel was the thought that kept him alive on the island and that was who he called when he could hear one person's voice.
Its going to take a lot of convincing to me that they arent going to be going on and off of each other forever.

It's probably always going to be Laurel/Oliver but I don't like Laurel. At all. Sigh. Felicity/ Oliver will either never happen or just be a doomed ship.
