Yes i finally got to watch an episode on time because the CW IS BACK HAHA
DIG AND oliver awesome. I loved how dog looked in the whole get up and put his moves to work. I must save his gunshot wound healed pretty quickly haha.
I actually liked laurel n somewhat her dad. Her dad gets on my nerves a bit. I loved in the end how Olivers mom came out to him. Im sorry about your family but can you kindly get the hell out my house!
Oliver and babysis were on good terms this episode i liked it. I wonder if she believed him about the arrow head. At the end it looked like she was going to do some research. How would he get money for it anyway hahaha.
Did anyone catch Olivers mentors moves when he came to rescue oliver from deathstroke? There was a move that caught my eye that Oliver definitely used on the guy who tried to kill him in his room. It was sweet.
I wonder if his mentor survives after leading the other people away from him because he kind of locked him away. Im assuming he does if his scars are are closed up.

Ratings for the superhero show just spiked 30 percent for the show’s fifth episode. Arrow delivered 3.7 million viewers and a 1.3 in the adult demo Wednesday night against a full boat of competition on the other broadcast networks. That ties the show’s premiere in 18-49. The rise is well timed — our recap claims this is creatively the show’s best episode since its premiere. insidetv.ew.com/2012/11/08/arrow-ratings-surge/

I personally didn't like this episode as much, too much story not enough action. But it was still good.

Eh, I liked it, despite the lack of action. The story/character stuff was enough to keep me interested throughout. And did Laurel do a 360 in the span of 2 episodes? She gets behind what the Hood is doing for the innocent guy but when she sees him lose it in the prison, she tells her father that he's right and that the Hood is a criminal/killer. Then this past episode, in one of her conversations with Oliver, she tells him something along the lines of it can't be him (earlier on before she has some doubts) cause the Hood is actually doing something good for the city. So the guy loses it trying to protect you from being killed and he's a criminal/killer but when he's doing his thing away from you and putting bad people out of business, he's a hero? What?

Looks like they're going to try a Nikita/Arrow pairing after all, although it'll be Arrow repeats at 9pm with Nikita moving back to 8pm on Fridays and it'll be a short run at that: Nikita is moving back to its old stomping grounds at 8pm on Fridays beginning November 30 and Arrow repeats will air at 9pm according to The Futon Critic. This Friday, Nov. 9, Nikita will still air at 9pm (America's Next Top Model airs at 8pm on Nov. 9 and from 8p-10p for its season finale on Nov. 16). After this Friday, Nikita will take the following two Fridays off before returning on November 30. The Nikita/repeat Arrow pairing will run until at least January 18 excluding Nov. 23, Dec. 14 and Dec. 21 where holiday specials are scheduled. TVByTheNumbersI think Nikita has had a bad lead in with ANTM as it's setup on Fridays so I guess they're trying to see how well it does with Arrow at it's back.

Liked the 'family' aspect to tonight's episode between Oliver, Thea and their mom. Loved the back and forth between Oliver and Thea earlier on and then ending on a high note between Oliver and his mom. Thea needs to lay off the drugs/alcohol. It's nice to see that she was somewhat offended by Tommy coming to her for advice on Laurel knowing the history there with Oliver. Not so sure about her making a move on Tommy afterwards and making a bad scene. I was actually fearful of the idea that they'd start something but Tommy wasn't having none of that. I was expecting Tommy to be a bit more shady and such in the grand scheme of things but so far, he doesn't seem to be. Dig is trying to get Oliver off the list and into helping the people in general which Oliver now seems content to do after finding out the history to the Royal Flush Gang, specifically the father who was let go by his father for outsourcing. Oliver offered him a chance that he should have taken (and 3 of them seemed ready to go with it) but the one son wanted to be 'set'. Was it really so bad to have whatever money you'd kept up till then and then get your old job back in a city of your choosing? Good deal turned down cause of the son and it ended in a loss of a life sadly. Wish they played up the aspect of the RFG more instead of just Ace & King. They came prepared during the 2nd meeting (the Riot Shields) and I would have loved to have seen Oliver have his hands full with all 4 of them but I guess that's a bit unrealistic at this point without some on scene backup (like Dig). Really wondering what they're going to do with the Tech girl. She's been showing up a fair bit but it's only for a single scene in an episode. Looking to see what they do if they plan on expanding her role. I'm also wondering how many names/pages Oliver burned on the island About to burn another one and he saw that the ink was activated by heat. So the book that his father had wasn't empty/blank. Next episode, China White is coming back and is targeting the family. Nov 28th so there is a break.

'Luna' from 'True Blood' (Janina Gavankar) will be making an appearance on the show : A familiar face from True Blood is coming to Starling City. Actress Janina Gavankar will play “McKenna Hall†in a multi-episode arc on The CW’s Arrow. McKenna is a Starling City PD vice cop, but she knew Oliver Queen back in his pre-island bad boy days. When a new drug called Vertigo — dealt by a dealer character played by Fringe actor Seth Gabel — starts wrecking havoc, their paths will cross in more ways than one. Gavankar plays Luna Garza on the HBO vampire hit and was also on Showtime’s The L Word. Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. Entertainment Weekly

Helena = Huntress Laurel = Black Canary if they go that route with her
Really, Oliver right now has more chemistry with Helena in one episode than Laurel all season (since they're pushing her with Tommy but this was before that big push) but I chalk that up to them understanding each other and Oliver seems to even have a better hand with Thea in that department and she's supposed to be his sister (and has just as much time with Oliver, if a bit more, as Laurel). They're probably keeping the Laurel push for later in the show but right now, Helena from first impressions is a fine fit.
Oliver would be good for Helena, at the very least in keeping her in line from killing everyone she's out for. The daylight shootings she's been pulling off aren't good and are going to get her killed.

Yeah she even rides a motorcycle. I like her so far, but that was mighty quick from, "The rich man's Lindsay Lohan," to a kiss.

I'm hoping that Tommy's dad cutting him off doesn't send him down the road of a criminal. Laurel has already assured him that the loss of his money doesn't affect her opinion of him but I think the normalcy of it all being gone may push him to find a stream of income to still impress her and such. Maybe he falls in with his dad with this secret organization? He then becomes a target of Oliver's?
