Someone who makes it obvious with their name that they're anti Damon right off the bat. Bitter Stelena fans and pressed Stefan stans are so desperate. All they care is about getting some 'one up' over Delena in the end. Well she can choose Stefan and then die cause what does it matter? lol.
Most of the SE fans want Elena to die now cause they're last line of hope with a 'human Elena' fell flat and they're just hoping now that Delena ends tragically. Honestly if the writers kill off Elena, they've only pleased their fanbase of anti Elena fans who think she's annoying and 'ruined' the show, Stefan stans/Caroline/Steroline fans who have grown to hate Elena for 'hurting poor Stefan' and 'Caroline's a much better heroine, and then of course the Bamon fans (who are also Stelena) who feel threatened by Elena and want her to die.
If the writers think Elena dying is some ending that's going to honor her character and everyone is going to be clapping happily as she heads into the light or whatever, then sorry these writers are idiots who don't even know their own fanbase. Stop being scared wimps and give Delena fans, the ones who stuck through this crap, the ending they deserve. Stop trying to please all these other fans who could care less.

That's funny especially after they made a joke about Elena swapping brothers again said by none other than Stefan as well as Jo stating the obvious, that she isn't going to suddenly love Stefan again just because she turned human. Where were these people when Delena was developing over 3 seasons, especially season 3 when Stefan was off with Klaus and told Elena to get lost a couple times as well as tried to kill her? I mean where were they? They act as if Delena happened overnight and only because of the sirebond. I guess they fast forwarded through all the obvious development of their relationship because there is no other explanation for their blindness. |

Even when it's said point blank, which is why I hate it when the writers do those annoying rewrites, like how Stefan says Damon can't cook, cause it only fuels the antis since it's stuff they want to hear.

Not to mention again that this scene happened after the fact of Jo establishing how silly it was to assume being supernatural affected ones feelings and a human Elena proclaiming her undying love for Damon once again. SE hasn't had any 'flirty' scenes like this since the horrid storyline of the Doppelganger curse in season 5 and all of a sudden the writers want to insert this randomly for a stupid joke where Stefan as always gets the last say? Elena should have been like, 'If that's how you react to someone granting you a compliment, no wonder your relationship with Caroline is going downhill.' or, 'Okay... not to self. Jokes go way over this Salvatore's head.' lol.

Fanfics are all around good since even if your ship is canon on the show like Delena, there are still moments where it's not written to the best that it can be or a fan has a better creative mind for a certain scenario that the writers never thought of. Or the writers flat out insert unnecessary fanservice to bait a ship.

Oh don't get me wrong, I read fanfics! I'll probably read them even more after this season is over. I wish I knew of more really good ones because the thing I hate is poor writing, weak writing and stuff that makes no sense....basically this show is a really bad fanfic...LOL Yeah haha you do sort of have to find the good fics in a pile of cringe worthy ones. On top of that it's always good to look for 'completed' ones as the worst feeling ever is to be in the groove of a good fic and come to find out the author hasn't updated in years lol.
And yes this show has just become fanbait. Every ship gets a bone thrown at them and that's what's really aggravating. What's funny is I remember my post back in the speculations thread to Iansfan that the fanbaiting days of SE were over because of what was said an episode ago by the characters and Elena, establishing that human or vampire, Elena will consistently love Damon, and the fact that SE hasn't been baited since season 5.
Then we get 5x21 with that dumb moment with Stefan. lol it's like you can't ever depend on consistent development or writing with this show or be content that the writers have long since moved on from petty things like that cause they consistently bring nonsense like this right back.

JP has managed to get SE fans pressed by one simple response to a video. Hah I remember the days when JP used to constantly say stuff to irritate the DE fandom. Boy does it feel good being on this side of the tracks haha. I'm amazed that there are some SE fans that think Stelena still has a shot of being endgame, it's not even equal with DE right now but they act like Stefan has been mourning over Elena this entire time and is not getting married to Caroline (and might possibly end up dying by the show's end).

What I find mind boggling is that there are fans out there that have such a fanon view of the show, you wonder if they shut their eyes through a majority of it. I saw a post on tumblr that mentioned this in their SE endgame theory, In the books and the TV series, changing from a vampire to a human has changed people’s feelings towards each other. With a human-human pairing, Stefan and Elena may be more drawn to each other, and don’t forget that Stefan was a human when he fell in love with Katherine the first time.
Really when has the show proven any of this to be true? When Elena's humanity was off, she still loved Damon. When she was given the cure, she still loved Damon. Heck even when her memories were erased, she still didn't fall back in love with Stefan. SE fans are not like BD fans, skipping from point A to Z and not thinking of any of the in between. Like mentioned Elena fell asleep, human Elena, proclaiming her love for Damon, and she's going to wake up still in love with him. Ever since Elena broke up with Stefan in 4x06, Elena has never wavered in her feelings with Damon sense. Yet SEs for some reason have it in their head that there's been some back and forth through the entirety of this time and that SE is right there in the running with DE to be endgame come this finale lol. I don't know how they've managed to stay this delusional.
Both of the people in their ships are in love with other people. Stefan fell in love with Caroline and proposed to her, they're having a wedding in 8x15, one episode before the finale. Cade even said that Caroline is the love of Stefan's life. When Damon's humanity was off, he never hurt Elena. When Stefan turned his humanity off, he was all set and ready to murder Elena so the humanity off is not even an excuse at this point. I don't know what more the show has to do to show that the SE relationship is 100 feet under ground at this point. Even Julie Plec is finding amusement in how far gone SE is now, so she's completely aware of what she's written Stefan to say about Elena. She's never had Damon resort so low to insult Elena with his humanity off, instead she wrote a storyline with Elena being the one thing to help him overcome the mind control of a siren.
Though I really love how this particular 'theory' is so convenient for not only Stelena, Bamon, but also *gasp* Klaroline. It's almost as if this person is hoping for some last moment miracle to 'win' or something lol. Bonnie's in love with Enzo, she's a broken mess over Enzo, and she's going to revive Enzo. Why would she end up with Damon? How does anyone think suddenly all of the couples are going to break up and past around partners and start a new relationship all at the same time? Yeah you honestly wouldn't believe, wait maybe you will actually lol, how many BDs and SEs still think their ship has a chance of being endgame and that DE is going to sink come the finale. And like you mentioned they'll still act shocked or that DE getting together doesn't make sense and is bad writing and whatnot. It still hasn't completely sunk in, some of them even talk as if they don't know that Nina has already filmed for the finale. They'll still probably claim otherwise even up to 8x15, swear that there's still some way that Elena is going to wake up in love with Stefan or that Damon will finally proclaim his undying love for Bonnie. Though the best part is that when DE is canon come the finale, there's no more grasping of straws anymore. No more episodes or another season to say that's finally when the writers will wake up and make SE and BD canon. They'll simply come off as bitter and salty fans who watched the show through colored glasses and couldn't put two and two together even when it was made blatantly obvious.
You know another thing I didn't consider but that someone brought up is that Candice will have to first and foremost agree to going over to TO. Candice has stated her dislike of Klaroline and how it doesn't make sense for Caroline's character. So this may make her not even interested in going over to TO, especially if her entire storyline simply revolves around Klaus and not anything else. She may have the mindset of Nina, being satisfied with the character and ready to move on. I don't know if I see Candice jumping back to continue this character and stuck in the same world, and a show doing not as good in the ratings either. It's been a good eight years and she may want to move on to other new things and not be stuck playing Caroline. Though this may not mean that she, or even Damon for that matter, couldn't cameo for an episode just to hype up the ratings. That seems like something JP may still do.

It's almost as if this person is hoping for some last moment miracle to 'win' or something lol. Bonnie's in love with Enzo, she's a broken mess over Enzo, and she's going to revive Enzo. Why would she end up with Damon? How does anyone think suddenly all of the couples are going to break up and past around partners and start a new relationship all at the same time? Get out of la la land. It's called grasping at straws. We can let them have their little imaginary endgame. We're getting the real one. The funny part is just how shocked they (and the Bamons) are going to act when their ships sink once and for all. Now I'm not sure what will become of Stefan but killing him off so they can send Caroline over to TO doesn't make any sense either. That show is on it's last breath as well and she's not going to save it. I binged watched Season 3 of The Originals a couple of weeks ago, and I was shocked at how much better written a show t is than TVD. I quit watchng TO mid Season 2 amd never finished Season 2, but Seadon 3 was awesome! Anyway, Michael Naraducci is leaving and JP is taking over if they get a Season 5. I dunno, maybe they will try to save it by bringing Caroline over. SE still ain't getting no endgame though.  |
