Looks like the lady who reported from Kat Graham's Vegas panel, that Kat would be doing a voice over for the 6th episode and returning later to film was correct. Both Ian and Kat on the set filming for ep 6.   Looks like they are both wearing matching his and hers vests, plus Kat has tied around her waist the same type of shirt Ian wore in an earlier episode. I wonder why Kat is doing a voice over for the episode. |

‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6 spoilers: The next step for Ian Somerhalder, Kat Graham
The premiere episode is titled “I’ll Remember,” and we know now that episode 2 has the title of “Yellow Ledbetter.” This is an interesting name for a show with such a young audience, given that this is a reference to a Pearl Jam track, which we’ve enclosed below for reference.
I've provided the one with the lyrics instead.
We like that Damon and Bonnie will obviously not be sent back to Whitmore / Mystic Falls immediately, since maybe that does give the other characters a chance to bond and try and move forward. That way, there is an even larger sense of drama in the event they return down the road. Who doesn’t love it when the show is good and dramatic? The Pearl Jam tracks come from a yellow letter recieved by Tim Ledbetter to inform him that his brother who had been serving in the Gulf War had passed away.

Vampire Diaries’ Season 6 Spoilers: Does New Promo Poster Hint At Bamon And Stelena Romance? We’ve got good news for Bamon fans – and bad news for those in Delena’s corner. The new promo poster for Season 6 of “The Vampire Diaries” has been released, and it sets the stage for some interesting character interactions in the next chapter of the CW series. Viewers will remember that Season 5 of “The Vampire Diaries” concluded with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) following through on a plan to kill the Travelers. The plan involved sacrificing their lives – but they had a backup set in place in order to return to the land of the living. Thanks to Liv (Penelope Mitchell), Elena and a handful of other Mystic Falls loved ones were able to pass through Bonnie (Kat Graham). But Damon wasn’t one of the lucky ones. When Liv’s magic got cut off, Damon was stuck on the crumbling Other Side – permanently dead. The blow was devastating for the group, but what no one realized was that when the Other Side vanished, Bonnie would disappear too. The deaths of Bonnie and Damon have been a point of focus for fans since Season 5 ended. Since Graham and Somerhalder are confirmed series regulars in Season 6, fans can expect to see them in some form or another – which sparked rumors of a romance between the unlikely pair. Hardcore Delena fans didn’t want to give any attention to the Bamon romance speculation, but the new promo poster seems to hint that a relationship between Damon and Bonnie IS possible in Season 6. The poster features Damon, Bonnie, Elena, Stefan (Paul Wesley), Matt (Zach Roerig), Caroline (Candice Accola), Tyler (Michael Trevino), Jeremy (Steven R. McQuee), Alaric (Matthew Davis) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey). But all eyes are on Bonnie and Damon on the left side. The characters are not smoky or transparent, meaning that they could potentially return to the land of the living in Season 6 of “The Vampire Diaries.” But the most shocking thing about the pair is that they seem to be holding on to one another. On the opposite side of the image is Elena. Damon’s former girlfriend doesn’t seem to be worried about Bonnie and Damon holding onto each other – because she’s clutching Stefan’s hand. Maybe she's just doing the intro for it? Maybe she's going to die and they're making it dramatic by having her narrate the episode? That's just as possible as any of these other crazy theories. It's too bad they really aren't giving us much to sink our teeth into for speculation. I guess they want to keep it a big secret. I hope it doesn't turn out to be yawn worthy. It has far too often when they act like some new and outlandish thing is going to happen and then it's just...ho hum. I'm kind of thinking we'll see Damon and Bonnie in some fog unable to get out of wherever they are and be bored by the end of episode one due to the lack of any real Damon scenes, but I hope not. |

To me the poster says, this is Stefan trying to lead Elena away from her Damon obsession, cause Stefan's advice is always oh so good!  ) and this is Bonnie trying to help Damon get back to the girl he loves. They've already said the both of them are 'longing' for each other. In that context the poster makes perfect sense for me. |

Lol that article was kind of funny with the whole 'Hardcore Delena fans didn’t want to give any attention to the Bamon romance speculation'. Almost sounds like it's written by someone caught up in the shipping fandom.
Though Damon was practically in Elena's lap in the season 3 poster and that season ended with Stelena regardless of how 'Delena' the poster looked.

We aren't giving it any attention because we aren't worried...lol lol yeah but I do always find it kind of weird when writers/journalists actually dedicate a whole article to some off the wall theory such as this haha. It's almost as bad and cringe worthy as those writers who take one screenshot of Elena standing between Damon and Stefan and then making a big deal out of it all, 'Ooh looks like Elena is caught between the brothers again! Who will she choose!' lol.
Though I guess in this particular instance, if you aren't really involved in the world of spoils and speculation and just go in blindly from season's 5 finale to the premiere of season 6, seeing the season 6 poster would make a more casual watcher think that Bamon is in the works.
Although viewing the show with a logical eye, I don't know how anyone can think Stelena would get back together, spoilers or no spoilers.

Hopefully JP stays true to her word and the villain will be truly evil and unredeemable. Silas was kinda like that but it would have been better if he kept that creepy, hooded look instead of his real face being 'Paul Wesley'.

I don't see what was redeemable about Markos either. We didn't even get a picture of him as a character, so how could he be sympathetic? We were never told anything about him as a person. He was about as well thought out as a Bond villain, in my opinion. Klaus and Katherine are the only ones who ever really appeared sympathetic.
