Indeed. It's going to be a long week.

Wow, just wow. That final 10 minutes was intense.
So, here's what I am thinking. Maybe Claire loses the baby, but when she goes through the stones later, she has momentary amnesia about it and still thinks that she's pregnant, when in fact she isn't.
Also, with the duel, JBR got hurt in his "man parts" I guess that means that he may not be able to have children. Which brings up the point: I was speculating this before (and I think Doppel might have eluded as much), that the children in his lineage may not necessarily be his blood children. As we look at a family tree, we see the children's names, but the actual paternity could be kept secret. I'm sure this happened back in these times, especially with Noble families where heirs are involved. Maybe Mary does in fact end up being intimate with the brother somehow but still marries JBR. Since they are brothers, the DNA is closely related so Frank would still look the same.
Just my mind doing cartwheels right now, lol.

Oh my god, this episode tore my heart out, stomped it on the ground and kicked it around in the dirt for good measure. I don't think I've ever been more abused by a TV episode quite that much. Beware if you haven't watched it yet...it'll hurt. There's no two ways about it.

I felt Cait's acting worthy of an Oscar.

So, I really loved how her necklace turned black and the way that they did that was wonderfully done! I am also looking forward to their return to Scotland. I think I miss it already and the simpler life and plain talking folks that are back there. France was complicated and pretentious. I love how they contrasted it so well to Scotland and life there. At first I was taken in by the elegance, but now, I just want them to hightail it out of there and back to their home.

Awe I'm gonna miss France! I'm happy for them because I know they are happier there, but Scotland is so much more dreary than France.

It's funny, I also watched Reign this week and Mary left France and went back to Scotland too, lol.

I like how they made that contrast. France was flashy and colorful but full of fakes, not everyone of course, but way too many.

My favorite moment. I loved the look that passed between them. You just know he's frightened and worried that he won't see her again and she bolsters him up with an, "On your way, soldier." Yet she is just as frightened. Magic! These two have real chemistry...

The Angus and Fergus scenes stole my heart, too. I loved Angus...so sad and Fergus has found a home and the loss of their own child maybe not so painful now. They really love him. I'm so happy about that!

God this season has just been so amazing! Loving every minute, even the sad ones! Only three episodes left I think though :-( Oh man, so looking forward to them though. I love reading all the speculations going on, and I can't wait to hear what everyone thinks when it all comes out! So intense this season is, wow. Just wow.

This episode was OK but probably not my favorite. Yet they said the writer wrote it herself so maybe the events are important to the eventual outcome. I don't know. It was definitely plot building but not so much fun, I guess, at least to me. I did love the moment when Jamie was praying for Claire in Gaelic. That was pretty precious and special and unique. If we could all have a man that loved us that much why would we ever be unhappy? I know there are men out there like that. They're just much more rare than I'd like. Well maybe I have a high bar because my Dad is such a man and imagine that, he is/was a red headed Scotsman! His hair changed to Auburn as he got older but he does still wear a kilt, knobby knees and all. hehe I get to wish him Happy Father's Day tomorrow, in fact, and maybe I will remind him of just how special he is to me.
