I watched the latest episode and loved that one, too. The expressions from Jamie over her dress being so low cut, the 'honeypot' scene and his sheepish look like he was in trouble when the girl from his past shows up were just priceless. The way he tosses the 'money dude' off her was hilarious as well. I also loved the two Scots sparring in the garden and everyone staring like that's just not done. It was a marvelous episode! I really love this show! I agree, this entire episode had me smiling and laughing and saying how gorgeous Jamie was and how beautiful and confident Claire was. The feels were great all around! The scene in bed was fabulous, from Jamie's reaction to Claire's hair removal to his harbored feelings about JBR. The acting is just phenomenal!

Yep! Right there with you guys, loving all of it! I am especially appreciating their willingness not to shy away from Jamie's trauma. I feel like in stories if things like that happen to men they are expected to shrug it off and move on quickly. But you would never expect a woman to not be completely scarred from an experience like that, and it should be the same for a man. And that's what they are showing.
Possible SPOILERS:
Book readers, its been a long time since I read these and my memory is really foggy, but the way they introduced Alex ... that was different right? For some reason I remember that being a lot more dramatic in the book. Didn't she faint when she saw him? I thought I remember her having like a panic attack because first she thinks it's Frank and then she thinks its BJR. Or am I mixing that up with another moment later? Anyways ... I like the casting job they did there though, that guy looks so much like Tobias!

You are correct. She sees him, thinks he is BJR, thinks Jamie is going to kill him and faints, which causes Jamie to take a second to realize that he is seeing Alex, not BJR. I like the twist in the TV show that Claire is going to have to tell Jamie BJR is alive. I think they also are combining up a couple of characters (Minister of Finance and guy Jamie pushes into water) to account for time. I am not 100% sure about that though. Either way, I like the variations from the book so we can be surprised too!

And I thought in the book too that Claire already knew the stampede hadn't killed him, and it wasn't a surprise to find out he was alive. Am I remembering that right?

I think Claire is surprised. She thought he was dead too. She finds out differently in the books, and separately from Jamie, but I think that is large plot point so will leave it at that.

I'm also in love with the costuming this year...everything is so lavish and I find myself staring at the walls in the sets and being amazed at the detail not to mention the amazing outfits they get to where, but I still love me a Scottish kilt on that boy the best!

If the Scottish landscape was a character last year, this year the costuming is that character. I've never really noticed men's costumes before but am loving how beautiful Jamie's outfits are, while still being manly enough for me. And the details on Claire--earrings, hats, that robe! And the plot is great and the acting superb. Am so happy with this show!

Can someone explain to me the timeline of events? So what we are watching now, as Jamie and Claire are in France, I assume this directly follows where we ended last season, correct?
So what we saw of her and Frank in 2x01, is that the future - that she will eventually go back to? If so, she wouldn't be pregnant in that future with Frank, right?
Or is that something that unfolds towards the end of the series as we see how it all plays out?
