Ground Nah! No one EVER has ground to put their hands on someone else physically. It's a TV show so different rules I guess. But I actually just kinda watched that and laughed. Almost expected it in a sense.... Everyone went crazy on twitter and I was thinking to myself really guys? We know who this guy is right now at this time. you knew he would punch him. Before all of this happened and at the start of season 3 I wondered how Stefan would react. I thought well since Stefan has asked Damon to take care of Elena and I will throw this out there "knowing his feelings for her were love" maybe when the time came he would be like well, I kinda should expect this since I did keep them together. I asked Damon to be the one to protect her because I knew Damon loved her the way I did so he would protect her. It's not a fair thing to do so I thought maybe he would take this understanding and kinda just show more of an emotional sadness when it happened. But Stefan has been someone different lately. So when he punched Damon I laughed. And When Damon shot back "so I take it you and Elena had a heart to heart" I laughed! It was kinda silly. Someone said it was Stefan coming through but I'm not so sure. I'm not so sure if the Stefan who punched Damon is the true Stefan or just a frustrated with everything, has the weight on his shoulder, Klaus told him he had no friends left, Elena doesn't even want me around and it's all starting to unfold in me Stefan. Look this episode was telling. His actions are pushing people away. Even Klaus told him "look around" and really who out there is Stefan's friend at this point? I Mean Damon loves his bro, he will do anything but he doesn't quite like him. Elena doesn't want to deal with him for obvious and GREAT reasons. Bonnie is there because she feels she has to. The council is pissed at him and I'm sure Tyler and Care thank him for that bite. Jer is gone bc he wont help her keep him safe and I'm sure Alaric thinks he's a grad A douche for getting hit. Stefan realizes this in this episode! Before he even finds out about the kiss. He realizes Elena lied to him so she wouldn't have to deal with him and that she kissed his brother. he is realizing that he really is losing everything because of the coffins. So I expected him to hit Damon yes. I wont lie if I didn't say I felt it was a bet self righteous. But do I understand sure. Did I expect it. Yep! Do i think he was justified NOPE! I wont make excuses for Stefan's actions but I can dissect them to understand them more I guess. Self righteous? Nah Stefan would NEVER be self-righteous. A bit of the old Stefan rearing it's ugly head there I guess. Ick I shudder at the combination of old and 'new' Stefan combined into one, a self-righteous ahole who doesn't give a crap...sounds lovely.  It seems to me he's only starting to care because it's starting to effect HIM. Prior to that it was, 'not my problem,' as the standard answer coming out of his mouth. You always make me laugh!  |

She said she didn't feel guilty about kissing Damon, even to Stefan. I think with her it's a matter of tying up loose ends with Stefan so she can move on, or in the possible opposite direction, finding out if it's really over in her heart. There's loose ends, that's why it's 'not right,' not because of guilt, because Elena doesn't lie and she certainly wouldn't lie about that to Stefan. Agree!!! She made it clear to Stefan it wasn't about guilt. She did not feel guilty about kissing Damon back. And at this point why should she? I think the look on his face afterward maybe she felt like she could have been less blunt about it but he even said it to her she is stronger. I just think Elena needs to be straight up with the guys but most of all straight up with herself. She comes before any guy. once she can be real to herself then she can love the one she wants. |

I dont think it was tying up loose ends. Theyve never really officially broken up no matter how many times stefan has screamed at her saying hes lost her and blah blah blah. lol I guess the more stuff I see about how Stefan is a dirt bag and doesnt deserve elena back and we want her to damon makes me come to the realization I am a Stelena SHipper.
I never really picked a ship because I Just love the show as a whole, I actually wanted Elena and Damon to kiss so they can stop with the weekly sexual tension and intense crazy eye to lip scenes they kept giving us but at the end of the day to me Stelena will always be end game. No offense to the Delena fans, if they get together im not gonna be a pissed off fan like I said I love the show as a whole and I go with the flow =)

I mean if Klaus kept the end of the bargain would they still be together 10 years later? No? Stefan left with the intention of never being with Elena ever again! Stefan broke up with Elena the minute he left town with Klaus. |

He knows Damon loves her and he has asked that one guy who he knows they share a connection to take care of Elena time and time again.... Come on! What do you expect? Especially when you make it clear you don't want the responsibility anymore. What??? Damon is supposed to just do it for you? That's not fair to Damon. To ask that of him for you're hearts sake while forsaking his. And I don't bash Stefan. I just don't make excuses for him either. I like the guy. I wouldn't ship him with Care or Kat if I didn't. I watch the same show as everyone else. I don't hate a single character. I hope to not come across biased but I don't feel the way I do about Stefan because I hate his character. I actually care about Stefan. I just don't want him with Elena. |

Is she a piece of property that he can hand over now or not hand over if he so chooses? I think not! They broke up. Now it's her decision what she wants to do and who she wants to do it with. There's no reason for her to feel guilty about kissing Damon because she's a single girl now. Damon feels guilty because it's his brother's ex. There's a difference between how Damon feels about it and Elena. I do think Elena needs to figure out what she wants and that's the reason for her hesitation. Heck maybe she just wants to be single for a while and that's entirely her choice as it should be. |

This is exactly why I dont get involved with the stelena delena debates people take things too personal. I didnt mean for it to sound as shes property, I was just saying Stefan is entitled to feel upset or hurt if she decides to give it a shot with damon. yea stefan feels he has lost her and maybe thinks shes better off but i think he feels shes better off with no vampire issues at all, so her going off with another vampire let alone his bro its gonna get to him. Elena to me has too much respect for herself anyway. I think it will take time before she goes back to either one of them. I see her being single for a while. |

I'm not taking anything personally...really...  But I do like a good debate and I am one of those people who doesn't like Stefan. I've tried, believe me I've tried but he rubs me the wrong way. I do think that Stefan hitting Damon came out of his hurt and he's entitled to feel hurt. I agree with that. We can't control how we feel. Feelings just are and when it's something this intense for these three I think things like that are going to happen, so are kisses.  I don't know what Elena will decide but I don't see her being single, because it wouldn't suit the show and the triangle if she was. I imagine she'll bounce around and drive us all insane before it's all said and done, though. |
