Now I really am here to debate this so please don't feel like you cant come in here and defend your opinion or rationale. I'm super curious!
So we know Stefan wants Elena to turn back into a human. he is willing to team up with Klaus to find this cure. Problem is Stefan knows what teaming up with Klaus means. It means once Elena is human Klaus will use her as his doppelganger blood bag again. Right now Elena is safe from Klaus... the BIG BAD. He doesn't seem so bad now that he has become friendly with the scooby gang but lets not forget the whole reason for season 2 and 3 was to protect her from Klaus right?
So why did we have to watch them try hard as hell to protect her from Klaus for Stefan to team up with Klaus and turn her into a human blood bag again? What is Stefan thinking?
Here are my questions....
Is Stefan giving up on Elena? Would he rather her just be human and right his wrongs than actually help her to become a good vampire safe and away with Klaus?
Does Stefan hate that she is a vampire? yes he loves her but he wanted a human girlfriend not a vampire. Can he even be with a vampire and not have issues? is this why he is dead set on her being human even if it's to make her a human blood bag again?
Also why is it ok to keep this from Elena? It's her life? Shouldn't she choose whether or not she wants the cure knowing that Klaus is in on it for his own selfish reasons? What happened to respecting Elena's choices?
Please debate because I think this might be the most selfish thing Stefan has done to Elena so far. He is going to extreme measures to do it too. He is teaming up with Klaus and he back stabbed Bekah. I'm just not liking this story line AT ALL!

Because of this:
Stefan: "I had a plan. I wanted to change who I was. Create a life with someone new, someone without the past." Stefan: "Someone alive."
Notice this entire statement is about Stefan and what he wants. This was in the Pilot! Right from the beginning he wanted to know Elena for this reason, so he could feel alive again, so he could forget his past and pretend to be something he wasn't. This right here, reveals the truth about Stefan.

Um ya that right there ^^^^^^
Wow so does he want her to be human because he wants a human girlfriend or does he want this for Elena? But what does Elena want? Does she want to be a blood bag or safe from Klaus. I wonder if this is the confession she tells Stefan.

Well Stefan never bothered to ask her so I think you have your answer right there.

He knows what Elena wants: to be human, to raise a family and grow old.
He's just trying to correct *HIS* mistake and he sees the writing on the wall: Elena being a Vampire is detrimental to his relationship with her. She's not taking to his methods, he can't be around her when she's feeding which is leading to more time with Damon (I'm sure ideally, he'd prefer Caroline helping her) and her hating the whole thing weighs on him cause he keeps thinking back to saving her or Matt.
This is once again, about him.

When they were in the woods he mentioned Caroline and Elena rejected the idea, so yeah, he'd prefer that. Alot of this is jealousy driven, too. He's obviously feeling very threatened by DE getting closer together. I don't really agree that Elena definitely would choose to be human AGAIN. She didn't want to turn in the first place, of course, but now that she has, she is free of the Klaus thing so it might be a different story if she's allowed to adjust to being a vampire and see the pros and cons of that before she would decide.
For all we know this cure could turn every vampire back to human. Nobody knows yet how the cure works.

I agree we don't know if she would chose to be human. Once she gets a hold of this it could be a whole different story and once she finds out that Klaus wants the cure maybe more than anyone she might change her tune. She hasn't had to deal with Klaus for like what a month? Must feel good though right? Maybe she'd rather just live forever and get a hold of the blood than go back to being his little blood bag.

Well until she comes clean on the whole Vampire thing, we can only assume. Being Klaus' apple again isn't going to sit well with her and if Elena is as good hearted as we're to believe, she wouldn't throw Katherine under that bus or Klaus could get greedy and want them both. But she does need to clear up this Vampire thing. She's still adjusting but as we saw last night, she was enjoying herself. She wasn't bothered by the blood, she wasn't killing anyone and she was generally having a good time. It's only when 'eyes' were on her from her judgy circle (Bonnie) that she 'snapped' back 'into character' about how it was 'wrong' and she continued with that BS with Stefan saying it was horrible when us as the viewer saw differently. Even Bonnie saw that Elena was enjoying the moment (which is a rarity as of late) but she rather turn it into one of those 'Damon is manipulating you and is the bad one' thing. I really want Stefan's back door ( ) deal with Klaus to blow up in his face not just with Damon & Elena, but with Bonnie & Caroline. I would really lose my **** if those two of all people said *NOTHING* about Stefan after that info comes to light.

I also kinda think it's selfish if Elena becomes human again. If she does become Klaus's blood bag that means she is helping or choosing to help Klaus with his hybrid army which is for what exactly? Do we need more hybrids? Most of the werewolves don't even wanna be hybrids like Tyler. he didn't want that! I'm just saying she needs to think all avenues out. Now she is free of Klaus that means the hybrids stop. That means werewolves are safe and Klaus's power is minimum.
When all this Klaus, doppelganger blood, hybrid army nonsense started I said she needed to just turn! Lots of people would still be alive like John, Jenna and others had she just turned. Andie would be alive. Damon would have never been bit and Stefan would never have left! Tyler would just be a wolf. I mean really? Weight the pros and cons Elena! STAY A VAMPIRE!

Elena can't see past what she wants most of the time. If someone else had made her decisions at certain times or if she had made the 'right' one, a lot of people would still be alive and a lot of trouble would have been avoided over the past few months for them.
Elena is supposed to be this caring individual but I don't see it. I see a monster. A selfish, manipulative, monster. Funny...sounds like Stefan. Maybe they do belong together...

So although Stefan is going beyond measure to make this happen I have to say i did not like the decision that he made in this episode. I get why he would want to make her human and even him. He said it perfectly when speaking to Bekah. But i really think he should speak to Elena about it.
That IS AN IMPORTANT DECISION he should go by from her. And not unless hes creating a plan to get rid of klaus after i dont see how he could justify himself for it.
And if Elena decides to become human again im just like wtf everyone was bending over backwards for you to protect you from klaus n u walk right into it.
I would accept im a vampire n move on with it.
I just dont like this storyline at all.

I've been saying that for the longest Ruby. You're a Vampire now, accept it, put it to use. You can protect yourself, you can better protect Jeremy, you can find something to do now with your long existence.
Bonnie lost her powers cause Stefan wanted her to find some loophole to the transition and now he's going behind Elena's back on getting her human again by buddying up with Klaus.
And why so secretive about it? Your group is mostly composed of Vampires now so why not call a meeting and ask if anyone else would like to be human again, like Caroline? She's a better person as a Vampire but maybe she'd like to be normal again. What about Damon who didn't want this to begin with? Elena of course. Yourself. Bonnie can go find Abby and change her back. Why is it all in Stefan's hands for this decision?

Yeah but Klaus said he's erase both their memories if he did tell anyone and I know he would do it, so that threat might keep him quiet about it. I wonder if that was some sort of foreshadowing of what will happen with SE. That would be cheap but I could see JP doing it. Ugh

well that info might justify Stefan but I think he should still tell her and let them ATLEAST make the decision together rather then him on his own. Or maybe stefan wants to find it first to see what exactly is the cure
