DANGEROUS LIAISONS — When Rebekah (Claire Holt) turns down Klaus’ (Joseph Morgan) plea to stop Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) and protect Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), Klaus turns to Stefan (Paul Wesley) for help. After an angry confrontation with her father, Mayor Hopkins (guest star Rick Worthy), over his unconventional approach to ending the violence in Mystic Falls, Bonnie (Kat Graham) has a frightening run-in with Kol, followed by an unexpected visitor. Klaus complicates the already tense feelings between Stefan and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) by revealing a bit of Stefan’s personal life, then surprises Damon by asking for personal advice. Elena (Nina Dobrev) tells Stefan about her dangerous plan for Jeremy, leaving Stefan in a difficult spot. When the high school’s 1980s Decade Dance is cancelled by Mayor Hopkins, Stefan finds a charming way to make it up to a disappointed Rebekah. Brad Turner directed the episode written by Rebecca Sonnenshine (#412).

Now, let's do the math:
-Elena makes a deal with Klaus to protect Jeremy
-Klaus asks Rebekah's help protecting Jeremy
-Rebekah turns him down, ergo she doesn't want to protect Jeremy and maybe does not want the cure to be found either?
-She's recruited Stefan as her new 'ally'
-Elena confides in Stefan about her plan for Jeremy meaning they are on speaking terms?
-Wonder what Klaus reveals about Stefan that can make it more tense between the brothers...that has me really curious, maybe something about his past and about rebekah?
- Rebekah NEVER gets to enjoy a DANCE WTF I hope whatever Stefan does he gets some cool points with SLASH HAHAHAHAAH LOL
-Conclusion: Stefan is forced to decide who he wants to help--Elena/KLAUS or Rebekah/KOL?, because their goals appear to be in direct conflict.

The part about the Mayor cancelling the decade dance made me lol. Finally someone notices that every time there's a decade dance someone dies or something bad happens  Seems like Stefan might dance with Bekah. Maybe it'll be like a flashback to the 1920's. I don't mean like it'll really flash back to that time but it'll bring back the memory |

Maybe what Klaus reveals to Damon about Stef's personal life has something to do with him finding comfort in a certain blonde, Bekah perhaps.

Wow when I saw those pictures of Bonnie pressed against the wall I thought that was Jeremy the entire time. Then when I saw the picture where he was at the door I was just like, hmm looks like he gelled down his hair. I was so off lol

Daaaammmnn! I couldn't understand why there were so many Bonnie and Kol shippers since there hadn't really been any interaction with them (that I can remember). But I can see the appeal now. Even if he is threatening her there is some chemistry there!  |
