I completely forgot about Hayley... I wonder when she will come back into the story. Well, we found out last episode. Find out the reason she's following Klaus to NO too: the birthmark she has belongs to a family of Werewolves in the area and it's currently the best lead Hayley has to finding out about her parents/family. She's now a tag along since the last 2 deals she made for answers to her family were busts ( Shane & Katherine who just tried to have her killed).

He wasn't from Louisiana though and he didn't seem to hint that he was related by his expression or anything and JoMo would have given us something I'm pretty sure, unless he doesn't really know at this point and that is part of what they are on, a journey to find out, find their roots, both of them, because I think he doesn't know his family history on that side yet. I don't recall him ever being aware of it, other than knowing his father was a werewolf and despised by Mikael. He seemed to relate to her on the 'orphan' level.

Klaus and Marcel Marcel, Klaus’ former protégé in New Orleans, created this supernatural community where vampires walk freely amongst any brave humans. He also has “hedonistic” parties where vampires feed on their guests, and generally does whatever he wants. Now Klaus wants his place back as the head of the supernatural community. This picture from The Originals show Klaus and Marcel meeting in a karaoke bar. At first they were happy to see each other after all these years, although Klaus isn’t very happy and a little envious of what Marcel has accomplished. Klaus learns Marcel has suppressed the witch community and now the witches want their revenge. The witch community in The Originals is where Sophie, played by Daniella Pineda, comes in. Sophie comes from a family of witches going back centuries, and she’s a warrior who has taken it upon herself to do something about Marcel’s witch suppression.

Elijah and Sophie This scene from The Originals is of Daniel Gillies and Daniella Pineda, as Elijah and Sophie, walking in Lafayette Cemetery. Sophie is trying to lay down the law to Elijah, not realizing he could have her for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, without thinking once if he wanted to. Sophie apparently has Klaus and Elijah trapped, and in this scene they’re negotiating some things. Klaus and Elijah at Lafayette Cemetery This is such a beautiful, ethereal scene showing Elijah and Klaus framed by the gates of Lafayette Cemetery in New Orleans. Lafayette Cemetery is where Interview with a Vampire, based on the novel by Anne Rice, was filmed. When Joseph filmed this scene he tweeted, “So, when you see Elijah and Klaus in that cemetery get ready to get excited.” Daniel Gillies reveals that this scene is where Elijah is taking Klaus to meet the witches. Instead of making things happen, Klaus is now in a position of having things happen to him, putting him in the center of attention. Daniel Gillies on the Lafayette Cemetery sceneHe’s [Klaus] in unfamiliar territory, other people are telling him what’s going on, and he’s following the clues and following what heart he has through the story.
Klaus and Elijah in Pirates Alley in New Orleans These pictures show Elijah trying to persuade Klaus to do the witches’ bidding so they can get a better position among the vampires and build a whole new kingdom for themselves. Daniel Gillies reveals that in this scene from The Originals Klaus is telling him to f- off! Julie Plec referred to this scene, tweeting, ”I was just brought to tears in take 1 of a super-wide master shot” while they were filming around March 15th. It was in a Pirates Alley bar where Julie came up with this very first scene for The Originals when she was scouting locations back in December. Julie Plec on the Pirates Alley sceneIt’s a really emotional fight between the brothers, and I was sitting around the corner watching the camera point right down past the bar where I’d dreamt up these ideas. Just listening to it, and being right there in that spot, where so many of these ideas had been birthed, it was very moving.
Klaus and Cami admiring a painting in Jackson Square on The Originals In this scene Joseph Morgan as Klaus and Leah Pipes as Camille (“Cami”) admire a painting in Jackson Square in New Orleans during the filming of The Originals. Cami is a human, and a psychology student, who works at Rousseau’s bar. Cami refuses to believe the evil exists, and if you dig deep enough you’ll find out what a person’s real story is. Sounds like she’s perfect for Klaus! When Klaus hear’s Cami’s interpretation of the dark painting they’re both admiring, he feels that perhaps he’s met somebody who could understand him. But there will always be Klaroline! Hayley’s redemption? Hayley, played by Phoebe Tonkin, doesn’t know where she came from so she’s always felt disconnected, and has always had to learn and discover things for herself; trying to get back to her humanity after all the dark and negative things she’s done or felt she had to do. Julie Plecsays we can continue to see the love hate connection and relationship between Hayley and Klaus as things move forward with The Originals. Elijah and Rebekah, together again Rebekah’s not too happy with the whole New Orleans family get-together thing. In this picture from The Originals Elijah pleads, trying to convince Rebekah to help bring the family back together and to start a new phase of life together in New Orleans. Rebekah feels betrayed by Klaus and doesn’t give a damn about what happens to her monster brother or bringing her family back together. It’s a difficult time for Rebekah, especially since she wants to be human again. A spell-casting witch in Lafaette Cemetery This picture show a witch, played by Malaya Rivera Drew, casting a spell in Lafayette Cemetery for The Originals pilot. Julie Plec confesses that originally she wanted to set The Originals in her hometown of Chicago, with all of it’s mafia history. Although she thought it would be great to showcase her hometown with it’s beautiful architecture, a friend told her about a movie they had just completed in New Orleans and told her all about the ghost and vampire tours and the voodoo graves in the cemeteries such as Lafayette Cemetery. A light bulb turned on above Julie’s head and she and everybody else she was with decided New Orleans was perfect. And with Mardi Gras just think of all the fun they’ll have! Klaus and another witch In this picture from The Originals Klaus is conferring with what appears to be another witch, who is hopefully on his side! Joseph Morgan agrees with Julie Plec that New Orleans is the perfect setting for The Originals. Elijah and Klaus both love it because it fits in with their vampire natures. Although Joseph loves The Vampire Diaries, he thinks if somebody was an immortal they’d settle in London, New York, Paris, or New Orleans and not little Mystic Falls. Klaus loves cultures such as painting, food, travel, and music, in spite of his many faults, so he would search for a place where a lonely vampire would blend in with other people who are a little bit different. Sounds like New Orleans is the perfect fit for The Originals! Sounds really interesting! Im super excited to see how the originals will play out =D

I created a new section for The Originals TV show so you can make unlimited threads in it of ships, discussions or episodes, etc. of the new show.

Well it's 6 right now. I *SHOULD* be good to go for the show/chat. A lot of times, I'll watch Simpsons for the full 7 hour slot and fall asleep during that so here's hoping that doesn't happen. EDIT: -_- I need to get straight. It's WEDNESDAY Brandon, not Thursday. I knew I was tuning into something tonight and that's Arrow/Supernatural, not TVD. For whatever reason, Wednesday and Thursday go to complete hell with my memory around 6-7pm for the past month or so Showing up to chat when there isn't a new episode, showing up 30 minutes late. Hahaha!

I actually thought it was interesting. Klaus is a Hybrid now so it seems another one of his Werewolf traits has bypassed his Vampire side. The baby could really be a freak powerhouse given Daddy's bloodline alone: Hybrid (Vampire + Werewolf) and Esther was a Witch. We don't know what laws a supernatural such as this would be able to break just by being born. A born Hybrid that could possibly use magic and can also be a true immortal (maybe no weakness to the White Oak stake).
It's a huge draw for me alone. It's also a means to get Elijah on board given his love for family and the possibility to expand their ranks after losing 2 brothers already and because of them being Vampires, not being able to do so over those thousand years. In a few gens, he could be throwing a family reunion with a hundred members showing up and it would all stem from Klaus' child. Elijah is going all in in wanting to get Klaus on track cause of the fate of Hayley and the baby.
The premise from this 'pilot' has me hooked already. I think the show is confirmed for Fall (?) so hopefully that Thursday 9pm slot is vacated.
