I just have to say this regarding any future for Bamon as a romantic couple, Elena would have to be dead and gone and never able to come back before I'd ever entertain the idea that Damon would be OK with anyone else. If they ever made Damon fall out of love with Elena or whatever, it would ruin his character not to mention it would be so ooc that it's not even funny. So if they ever went there, I could not keep watching the show. They'd have ruined my favorite character. It's a simple as that for me.

Yep! Not to mention it would make Bonnie the worst friend ever! Why do people WANT Bonnie to be such a terrible person? Because that would make her a terrible person. Elena is alive and well and still completely in love with Damon. So if Bonnie, who is supposed to be her best friend, starts something with Damon ... that is beyond betrayal. That would be the end of their friendship, and that's the least that would happen. And what about Jeremy? He would probably try to kill Damon, and hate Bonnie, and everyone would be at each other's throats, and that would kind of be the end of the story ... So yeah, its beyond stupid.

But especially now! I mean if Delena were not together and it was looking like Stelena was going to be always and forever then there might have come a time that it made sense, but it just doesn't, not now and not unless something horrible happens with Delena. |

The sad thing is while there may be legit Bamon fans who truly enjoy the couple for the potential and truly like the couple on its own merits, that's far inbetween fans of Bamon who are Stelena fans and hate Damon, anti Elena fans or just anti 'BS' triangle and are shipping Bamon under the pretense that it's different or in their mind still think Elena is going back and forth between brothers. We'll have good healthy debates here of course but from most Bamon arguments justifying the ship, they really don't know how to defend the couple by itself, without dragging Elena's name through the mud or making it seem like Damon really never loved Elena genuinely. |

Why? Because what is the difference? If you must know, most of Bamon fans are original Stelenas who are forced to ship Bamon as a way to get Damon out of the way. If you haven’t noticed, four out of five posts in any Bamon fansite or forum thread is anti-Delena or anti-Beremy. That’s because Bamon is synonymous to hating Delena and Beremy, and any other ship that will get in our way. You are not A TRUE BAMON if you don’t learn to post hate messages to Delena and Beremy fans! Hallelujah for Katerina Graham! She is a powerful being that deserves only PRAISES! She is amazing in every way! She is ALWAYS the best-dressed! And she is the best actress! Heck! You cannot call her acting bad or her tears fake! Why? Because Kat Graham herself will run after you! She will tweet you and the rest of us will tweet you too! Because we follow our goddess! Even if you don’t address it to her, she will SEARCH you. In fact, she tracks EVERYTHING. We believe she tracks private messages too! That’s how amazing she is! She is perfect! She is everything! …Bonnie is the GREATEST character that has ever been created
Bonnie is the only character in the show who is a nice person, the only character who makes the right decision. The single MOST important character! In fact, she is SO important that SHE CANNOT DIE! Yup! Apocalypse will come, and everyone in Mystic Falls will die to protect her. Yes, EVERYONE WILL DIE but not her! And because Bonnie is sooo amazing, characters will just kill themselves willingly because they are overwhelmed by Bonnie’s importance. So Delena and Beremy ships are doomed, because Elena and Jeremy will not live for long. Damon will live, because Bonnie needs him, why? Read the next reason!
…Bonnie needs to be shipped with a main character
LJ Smith, KW and JP got it wrong! Elena is NOT the lead character, it’s BONNIE! And because Bonnie is the most important character, she needs to be shipped with a main character - Damon! With Bonnie’s high stature in the show, SHE CANNOT be shipped with Jeremy! Jeremy does nothing but adore and care about Bonnie, but that doesn’t matter! Jeremy is secondary character, UNACCEPTABLE! It will degrade Bonnie! And we need to have Bonnie as our number one female character! We ship Bonnie with Damon even if Bamon fans hate on Damon as well because we have no choice, Damon’s the coolest and most loved character! And he’s one of the main character, so Bonnie NEEDS to be shipped to him! We need to put Bonnie to the top! So ship Bamon!

Nian? Really??? Where in the world have you been? It’s Kat and Ian who are dating!?! They are the closest people! Did you not hear of the time Kat called Ian while chatting with fans? But Kat, because she is so amazing, pretends there is nothing going on with her and Ian. That’s right, Kian is just pretending. Nian is just a front, it’s really Kian who are dating. Yes, Bonnie and Damon danced during Miss Mystic Falls. Bonnie and Damon had a road trip. Oh, correction, road trips. Damon kissed Bonnie thinking she was Katherine. Bonnie kissed Damon thinking he is dying. etc. etc. etc… You don’t believe me? Why look at all the manips around!!! We had loads of GREAT scenes! Bamon fans are great makers of manips! We put Bonnie’s head in place of Elena’s, and we pretend that that scene happened with Bonnie in it and not Elena. Then we gush like it’s the real thing. Oh trust me! We are great gushers at manips! And those manips are the best scenes! Ever!
…Bonnie and Damon has the MOST romantic scenes!
And of the scenes that Bamon DO have, they just happen to be the most romantic! I’ll list some for you - Damon trying to kill Bonnie, Bonnie trying to kill Damon, Damon threatening to kill Bonnie, Bonnie threatening to kill Damon, etc..etc..etc…Oh god! When Damon finally kills Bonnie, I will die of happiness! Sooo romantic! You cannot get that from any other ship now, can you?
…Damon cares deeply about Bonnie
Yup! He even admitted it to Elena! "If it comes down to you and the witch again I will gladly let Bonnie die kill you so Bamon can finally happen. Best.proof.of.Damon’s.love.
and lastly, because Bamon shippers are the most realistic, the nicest, and the most logical of all being!

It's so obvious how many Bamons are really Stelenas. I'm reading comments and in the same Bamon remarks are how Steroline should stay friends...yeah right. So this is an anti-Bamon, anti-Stelena post...because they both suck and are the same damn fans. Nothing would make Stelenas happier than Bamon and even if Stelena never got back together again they'd have seen an end to Delena because they are just that vindictive. So I wish people wouldn't be fooled by the so called Bamons into thinking there really is some sort of fanbase for it. Most of them are just Stelenas in disguise and couldn't give two s***s about Damon or who he ends up with as long as it isn't Elena.

Like this makes sense....never....the logic of these people...but of course this isn't really a fan of Bamon, it's a Stelena like most of their fandom! They hate Damon! They want him with Bonnie so he'll be off their screens with her in part time actor land.

They're claiming it's selfish of Damon to want Elena back...like in what reality? If this happened to you then what, you'd just give up the love of your life so as not to be selfish? This makes zero sense people! Elena loves Damon so much she had to find a way to stop loving him so she could go on with her life without him...it isn't selfish of Damon to try to get her back now. It's what she wanted, to be with Damon forever. She thought she'd lost him forever and I don't know how they can compare anything Bonnie with Delena. Damon is polite to Bonnie mainly because she is actually useful when she has magic. He's said it himself several times and when she was without magic she was not much use to him, which he also pointed out. I do believe he respects her more than a lot of them because she is willing to put it all on the line for the gang, but it's a far cry to say he's in love with her or anywhere near it at this point. He's desperately in love with Elena in case these people have forgotten... I'm glad Damon and Bonnie have gotten to be better friends. He needs more of the gang on his side and she just might be the one to help him get Elena's memories back again. Who knows? Bonnie is the same girl who walked right by Damon being tortured by Rebekah so you can bet your sweet ass I'm glad she's gotten past that kind of thing when it comes to Damon. If it means she'll work with him better it's all good. I'm not a Bonnie fan and I've never been and I doubt I ever will be because I find her annoying, aloof, self-righteous and holier than thou, which is why I have no interest in seeing Bamon as anything but friends. The little bit of Bonnie we get to see every week (prior to this season) is more than enough for me. I don't want more Bonnie on my TV screen and definitely NOT in connection to my favorite character, Damon.
