that makes me wicked sad :-(
I've been watching season 3 with my boyfriend. It still feels epic. I will miss this show so much, and all of you guys!!
I hope some people check in now and then.

I just got through watching the season 3 finale. Man I forgot how emotional that episode is! I miss this show so much :-(
Highlights for me: of course the memory of Damon and Elena's first meeting, such a legendary moment. Also Alaric's goodbye to Jeremy after he has died and become a ghost. Tyler and Caroline's goodbye when she think's he's dying. So much intense emotion!
This show really was brilliant for a while there. I forget sometimes, with all the crap that went down later the good parts start to get fuzzy. Which is why I am loving rewatching it. Reminds me why I fell in love with the story, and Delena :-)

I stopped watching this show ages ago. I had always been a fan of Delena didn't like the sire story line thing back in I think season 4. Then I found out Nina left the show... long story short I forgot how great Damon's character is and am now seeing the awesomeness of the Delena story through the last few seasons (I'm on season 6). I am a little concerned about the next two seasons though. This show is still pretty great.

Im' watching - just started it, so I'm a couple episodes behind. Not sure if I'll stick with it yet. Hope is so extra. They are trying to make her as angsty and troubled as Klaus, but he had a reason - 1000 years of pain and evil. It seems forced how angry she is right now, although I know both her parents and her uncle just died (yada, yada, yada, lol).
But, they've introduced dragons in this episode I'm watching, so hey that's new. I've got questions though, but clearly no one here to talk to, lol. Also, not sure I want to stick around for Julie Plec's latest ship that she will eventually destroy. We'll see.

Does anybody really believe that they would have put SE back together again? I mean there is no way that ever could have happened with where we are in the story, not even at the beginning of this season. It's all fan service to the SEs and of course they are eating it up but it just could not ever happen. SE got their closure a long time ago and they'd both look so weak if that ever happened, especially with the whole doppelganger thing in the background. Please...the whole idea is laughable really so let the SEs feel better with thinking that could have happened. It didn't and it makes zero sense to think it ever could have. |
